Hotel de la Tour

The room was basic but comfortable.

Location was decent, good connections to various metros and whatnot. The people who run this hotel are very kind people and it was my biggest memory. Didn't expect a free breakfast but i was very happy with it! It got a little loud in the evenings (especially during weekend) because there is a brasserie right below the bedroom window. It was warm inside the room, and you couldn't open the window for fresh air in the evening due to cigarette smell.

Great location where all the action is. Not a place for quiet rest, but you definitely get a taste of the culture! I happened to be there when a soccer match win was celebrated. Receptionists were very accommodating. Could be a little cleaner and maybe a little facelift to spruce up the place a bit. Very close to train station, places to eat, etc. I would go there again.

The location is great at Montpartnasse There was some electrical issues.

Terrific location, comfy bed, and friendly staff

This is a good solid place to stay for the budget conscious traveler. The location is great, walking distance to two metro stations. It’s right next to Monoprix which is convenient for any shopping needs. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was small as to be expected but clean and has the basic essentials.

Perfect experience, would greatly recommend this accommodation. Location was perfect, less than 5 minutes from the train station and next door to a Monoprix (open very late). The room was perfectly clean and had everything you could need. But the staff and breakfast certainly set this apart. The quality and attention to detail made this one of my best stays in Paris. 10/10

The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful, giving us advise of what to see, where to go. They also did their best to accommodate our early checking and early checkout. Breakfast was awesome!

Staff were wonderful Nothing

Very friendly and welcoming staff, small but well-designed room with superb sound-proofing, comfortable bed: great value and a well-connected location for Parisian exploration. I loved it. The only thing I can think of is that it would be great to have whole-grain bread instead of white baguettes for breakfast.

Excellent location, near subway and supermarket. Good breakfast. Quiet. Small shower so it may not fit well-built person.

Location, cleanliness, breakfast!

- Location - Bed was neat The room shown in Booking.com has windows open to the street however, hotel allotted me a room that had one window and that too open to backyard. I asked about this and hotel told me that they dont allot rooms as they shown in Booking.com. Congested room and bathroom but ok for one night stay Breakfast - you will get 1 croissant and 1 bread, served at room. No buffet system

Furthermore, Hotel de la Tour has amazing staff! They were very friendly and made the stay very pleasant. We particularly appreciated that there was a fan in the room to keep it cool. The facility itself is a bit old, and the room itself is simple. However is being kept clean, and it's an overall great value for the price and location

The owner, Frank, was most cordial and respectful. The location is in a lively pare of Paris and convenient to all. Farmers Market across the street. Steps away from Gare Montparnasse. Don’t miss the cemetery down the street. Easy walk to Luxembourg gardens. The noise from the sidewalk cafes went on until the wee hours of morning. This may bother some people. It lulled me to sleep. No A/C but with a fan and open windows the nights were cool enough for sleeping.

We loved the location, made visiting Paris extremely easy and the bed was very comfy! The food in the morning was great as well, the strawberry jam went down a treat every morning. The lack of air conditioning was the only disappointment, but weather was good so not too hot at night.

Location is good. Very basic breakfast. And a lot of noise at nite as it is above a restaurant.

Great for the value Superb location Nothing

Good location to get around. Can easily get to the numbers 4,6, 12 and 13 lines. Room was comfortable, clean bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would go and stay there again.
