Hôtel Darcet Paris

Beautifully clean. Lovely bathroom. Beds comfy. Well placed for our trip to Moulin Rouge. Staff friendly and helpful. All good We liked it all.

Great little hotel with good access to metro and wide range of facilities within a short walk. Staff were very friendly and accommodating One thing to note the lift is tiny so had to use the stairs which was fine but maybe not if you have access issues

Clean room and great location with many subway and bus lines. Daikin A/C unit save one in the hot summer days/nights. Generally friendly staff. Elevator way too small. It fits maybe 1 or 2 person. Folks with large luggage may have some trouble.

Second time visiting the hotel after 4 years. It remains an excellent choice for a central hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, while the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Reception is 24/7 (truly 24/7 with an employee always at the reception desk), which made us feel safe. The hotel is very central, located next to two metro lines and convenient buses. Major attractions are easily accessible in 20-30 minutes. Place de Clichy is very lively and there are several bars and restaurants that stay open until very late. Bonus: Free coffee available at all times, using the reception coffee machine. Photos in Booking underestimate the hotel. They could be improved.

Cleanliness was top notch, room size was great and staff were amazing. Extremely helpful and accommodating, they shared insights on best and safest routes to take through Paris. Answered all the questions I had, and brought a positive vibe.

Great hotel - it's so nice to find somewhere that is still a real hotel with a front desk and a person there. The room is somewhat small and basic but perfectly nice, and there is indeed working air conditioning. The location is also very convenient and safe.

Staff where flexible with checking and check out times to assist with travel plans. Door locks can be a bit fiddly to operate to lock properly.

Well located but random hotel

It really well located, The staff is super friendly. We arrived early and they let us check in ahead of time. Very clean facilities, they speak English and Spanish that works really well for us. It really nice, the elevator helps a lot because the lauggage. They rooms are clean.

Though the hotel itself is small and unremarkable, it is one of the more affordable options in the central Paris area. I say 'affordable' though the cost for a one night weekend stay was 170 euro plus change, but this was partially offset by the fact that it was one of the few lower priced hotels that had air conditioning (I chose it primarily for this reason as the heatwave hitting Paris made it a necessity). It was also one of the few hotels that offered a 12pm checkin, close to my flight arrival time (most Paris hotels allow checkin after 3pm, which I will never understand). The room was acceptable. Nothing to write home about, but clean with crisp clean sheets and a clean though slightly aging bathroom. The staff is helpful and the hotel is very close to the metro / buses and local options for dining, lesser known sights and easy access to the center of Paris. I mean, it was ok. Like I said, basic and nothing to write home about. If I had to find something, I'd say the carpeting and common areas of the hotel are slightly worse for wear. But again, nothing really that terrible. My main nitpick would be the price, almost 200 euros for an overnight stay, but again it's tourist season, it was a weekend, it's fairly central and other hotel prices were just ridiculous by comparison.

Superb

The room was clean and spacious for 3 people. It was in a great location. There were lots of restaurants and cafes nearby within walking distance. The metro was also a short 2 mm minute walk which made exploring the city much easier. We were here during the June heatwave and the a/c here is similar to North American standards and was nice to walk into after being in the heat The beds were hard and uncomfortable and I had trouble sleeping due to that. The rooms are also listed as soundproof however I could hear the street noise every night. The elevator is tiny and can only fit one person and a couple suitcases.
