The hotel is luxury and delivers. Have stayed before, there has been some cost cutting in respect of certain aspects. They should charge a little more not having shrinkflation.

The George V is a fabulous hotel. Our room was spacious and immaculate. The beds were extremely comfortable. Every member of staff we encountered was so friendly, helpful and courteous. A real credit to the hotel. There isn’t much to not like about this hotel. Yes, it is expensive but you get all the benefits you would expect at this calibre of stay.

linen Where to start: the staff - rude, arrogant, ignorance, they just don't care you there, especially at reception, concierge service is worthless - forgot all the requests or could not make it. Cherry on top - they forgot about my birthday, even though I reminded twice at booking and at check in, so just ignored it, completely. But left me rotten fruits at check in, well thanks for that. The hotel is the entrance courtyard on the one hand with numerous random people coming there to take a picture or sit on at the lobby but from the other it restricting the freedom of movement of hotel guests due to the numerous guards of other guests blocking an entire wing on the floor and frightening passing guests! This is unacceptable from the other! The comfort and safety one guest shouldn't be limited by another! All guests are equal and if you have no idea what hospitality is then you don't deserve even 1 star.
