For me, it's the perfect location -- right next to Gare du Nord. Most of all, I commend the staff. At the start there were some glitches but they were simply "swift" in responding to any concerns. Nothing in particular.

Rooms were hot should have fan’s specially at night
-
No fan or ac in the room, Rude staff
-
location was great Room on the top floor with a flat metal roof and 40 degrees celcius outside. No airconditioning and a broken elevator. Could not get any worse
-
Nothing Worst hotel ever. Service is so poor. Staff are far away from professionalism, it seems they have issues with visitors! Very hot especially in July and August where no AC is available nor fans. Despite all staff have their own fan for cooling, the property disregarded visitors request to provide at least one fan during sleep time. It was miserable and unhealthy condition to stay especially at sleep time. In addition, the room is extremely noisy because of huge bar located in the middle of the entire facility. Consequently, I couldn’t sleep and got sick from both hot weather and noise in this hotel. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone and will NEVER think about booking to this hotel neither in Paris nor anywhere else.

it was very hot and although a fan was on all night that wasn't enough, also i didnt find the breakfast place
-
NOTHING EVERYTHING

I would be cautious and wary of your surroundings later in the evening to night. Stay in group settings.

Very cooperative staff
-
It’s location and the staff It was cramped, dirty, and the AC was awful. I barely slept and sweated profusely all night
-
I loved breakfast, staff approach, near to train station location, and technical solutions (Locker, key cards, etc) I didn't like my second-level bed. Also, the toilets could be cleaner.
-
Terrible night shift staff. Doors are not working properly and the reception is too small and always crowded!
-
Friendly staff and nightly mixers No I’m room AC

Location is close to Gare du Nord which is an important station. The hostel itself is located in a beautiful, heritage building which is very spacious. Despite there being heatwaves in Paris every year these past few years, the hostel is simply not prepared for it. I understand old buildings like these cannot have ACs, but there are no fans, water dispensers/coolers, refrigerators etc either. The building is poorly ventilated and everyone in my room was sweating profusely and unable to get any rest. That resulted in all our daily sightseeing plans being disrupted as we all suffered from sleep deprivation. Even during the day, when the heat got too much, we did not have an option to come and relax in the hostel as the hostel was even more hot. Whether day or night, I did not get a comfortable place to stay which a hotel or hostel is supposed to be.

The hostel is located in a beautiful, spacious building 3 minutes from Gare du Nord. The rooms are spacious. The hostel hosts free drinks in the common room. They have a microwave which is a nice addition. Despite there being heatwaves in Paris every year these past few years, the hostel is simply not prepared for it.
