Residence Inn by Marriott Paris Didot Montparnasse

Our room was garden-side, so it was very quiet. The laundry service app is convenient. The hotel is old, and the carpets in the corridors are dirty and stained. Cleanliness in rooms is subpar. Room service staff have gloves, but they put their hands in the trash and then change the bedsheets. Some staff members are friendly, while others come across as rude and unhelpful (stereotypical Parisian). Breakfast is simple but okay.

The air conditioning in the room never got below 79! It would be cooler outside by 10 degrees and we still couldn't get our room to cool off.... if we opened the patio door, all we could smell was pot & here noise outside. So we had to keep the door closed & the room hot!

The location was great, lots of cafes, restaurants and convenient store near. The room was very clean and comfortable, staff was Excellent. I will be returning when visiting Paris.

King sized bed, comfortable. Spacious shower room. Good breakfast. The room was hot and we could not get the temp below 23 C. We asked for staff help, they came and looked and were told that the hot water tank heats the room.

We upgraded to a suite and the room was decently sized (for Europe). It had a nice mini kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove, sink, dishes, and utensils. These came in handy, even for our 3 night stay. The curtains blocked out the early morning light well so we were not awakened too early. The Plaisance metro station was a 5-10 minute walk which gave us easy access to most of the city that we wanted to travel to.. We purchased a pass for two days allowing unlimited use. This worked out great. Having the breakfast included was convenient, saving us the time to search out a place every morning.. We could grab breakfast (which was well stocked with many options, hot and cold), and be on our way for the day's sightseeing. There were plenty of restaurants in the area for lunch and dinner, as well as markets for drinks and snacks. Overall we were very happy our choice to stay here. We did not like the fact that the toilet was not located with the shower and sink, rather it was located near the "kitchen" area. We ended up using the kitchen sink to wash our hands after using the toilet, since it was closest. Odd design choice. But this was only minor and would not deter us from returning.

No available rooms despite confirming the booking twice

The fact that I was oblige to pay when I arrived to the hotel, I explained that I already paid via Booking but nobody want to hear me I was obliged to wait more than two weeks et several emails in order to have my money back Really disappointed

I had to wait for over an hour to get my room. Could only get the room keys at 4:15pm

The hotel was good overall, and the room was comfortable. The location was decent, with a couple of restaurants and a grocery store nearby, which was convenient.

The hotel staff were very nice. The breakfast was very good, and the hotel’s location was excellent. It was very easy to access the bus, metro, and tram. If I ever come back to Paris, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
