The location. The design of the hotel. The lobby bar. The room is spacious. The guests write about nice beds. Well. That’s nonsense. Or not in my case. The mattress was so old and pressed through. My back and my friends back were sore after 3 days. We had a basic room and it was patio windowed on the first floor last one. And during the meal time - our room smelled like taverna. Clothes. And it was difficult to ventilate the room.

Recommended! The staff is amazing and welcoming

Great location, excellent breakfast, very comfortable rooms—especially considering we’re were there during the “great” heat wave— and very friendly and helpful staff.

My 2nd stay at new roblin!! The location is wonderful. Roman at the front desk could not be more professional while also being so very likable and friendly. He really made my stay much more enjoyable despite the very challenging heat conditions. During the heat wave the room offered a respite, not super cool, but we were not uncomfortable. And the staff kept refilling our carafes so we were able to remain hydrated! The room we had this time was dark dark dark! It was well decorated and had all the amenities we required, but was very difficult to get ready for the day in such bad lighting. I also do not care for open showers, which seem to be very common in France, the water spills all over the floor! Finally, the room rates have increased greatly since my last visit in 2023 ☹️ I could not afford to stay on my final night in Paris as I needed a triple room for my final night as another daughter was joining us and it was 1200 a night for a room for 3 people. I am absolutely sure the triple rate I paid in 2023 was not even half that. We were sorry to move hotels.

We had a wonderful stay at the New Hotel Roblin. The location is absolutely perfect—very safe, central, and within walking distance to many major attractions, great restaurants, and shopping areas. The rooms are clean, well-designed, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our trip!

There was no coffee machine or cotton buds, and they LOST(!) my raincoat in the luggage room and couldn't find it. On top of that, the receptionist's attitude was rude, especially considering the big mistake they had made.

Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean and cute. Big, updated bathroom with very tall shower (my 6’4” fiance was comfortable!) Lack of air conditioning — room was hot. We slept without covers every night.

Tiny rooms, good for overnight only

The location is central and great, the staff are very friendly and accommodating I would honestly stay here again. Nothing

Allthough the breakfast is overall great, we really missed having more leafy greens available in the breakfast buffet. There was only cucumber and cherry tomato salad and we would really love to have access to some lettuce or salad romaine.

Comfortable, clean bed. High ceilings. Large windows with a nice courtyard view Minimalistic here is an understatement. The owners clearly have a phobia of storage surfaces. Want to hang a coat? Good luck. The only, and I mean THE only, hook rack in the room is bizarrely just barely above the tiny coffee shelf, with about 5cm clearance between the hanger and the water boiler. I guess it’s not really needed. It doesn’t rain much in the Netherlands, so who would ever have wet jackets to hang? But hey, you can always hang your socks, if you fold them three times first. I felt like half the stay was moving my stuff around to make sure it’s not on the floor. You will struggle to just empty your pockets. No empty shelves, storage spaces, protruding surfaces, closets. Nada. Just bare walls. To top it off, the peeling stucco on the walls has gone beyond the cool-exposed-walls-vibe. The walls look shabby and sad. A beautiful building that needs a major redesign. Avoid.

The location is fantastic. Close to major Paris attractions and very close to public transportation. Very nice neighborhood with many good restaurants and bars.
-
Elevator is very slow, the baby crib they provided was extremely dirty and many holes—they replaced it but it took then two days.

The location is amazing!!! The room was dirty and we were on the first floor this was our second time there.
