The room was small but comfortable, even in heatwave we managed to be able to sleep through the night. The bathroom was peculiarly small but functional The bathroom was peculiarly small but functional

Very close to Gare du Nord. Nice big windows. I liked the area. No air conditioning

Not much They lied about a leaky bathroom, accused me of lying, when they gave me a new room the pillow had a dried blood stain, not much the booking team helped with either. Said they would relocate and to call next day and I did then they said they refused relocation.

Great location but a bit shady. It was clise to train station.

Room comfort and Cleanliness were just great It was fine for me, but if it's your first time in Paris, you might not like seeing immigrants nearby selling cigars and other things. Anyway is totally safe so dont worry

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

The place is located in a sketchy part of Paris. There's a lot of people loitering near the hotel, which can be scary.

The 24/7 reception staff were amazing and very friendly. The overall experience of staying at the property was great - it was clean, welcoming, and a great value for the price. The area the hotel is located it is not the best but not necessarily unsafe. There is somewhat of a homeless problem surrounding the nearest subway station, but it’s not detrimental.

    Location. Felt very unsafe outside.

    The location

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

The staff was excellent! Very kind and helpful, available 24/7 for questions and to unlock the front door when we came back late. The bed was made every day and clean towels were provided. The breakfast was good! The sink was clogged up, but not that big of a deal. The location itself was not ideal, lots of fights outside and police activity, but not terrible.

    It’s not clean

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

It is a budget hotel but, comfortable and friendly nothing, it was what I expected. The area could be a bit better but it is close to the metro and walking north gets you to Marx Dormoy area for good eating and Marche l'Olive

Cozy and authentic small hotel with friendly staff and good location (more on this later). Great value and easy to get on Metro here (but don’t don’t to La Chapelle station looking for a metro card). It’s not their fault of course, that the neighborhood has taken a turn for the worse in the recent years. It’s very instructional to walk about this neighborhood to understand the hand Parisians have been dealt.

The same goes for my previous evaluations -clean comfortable - appropriately heated - bed very comfortable, with sidelights and electric sockets convenient for charging the phone nearby The sink was inside the room instead of being inside the bathroom, rarely seen in a hotel. People shouting outside every night Water surprisingly takes time to get hot ( it requires about 5 minutes) with lack of pressure ( 4th floor? )

I used to book rooms in that hotel, as for now, I’ve never been disappointed. Staff are helpful , friendly and welcoming Rooms is clean and comfortable Bathroom is ok Some times hear some noise outside but very rare .

It was great! I loved it! My room was beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️ The neighborhood is kind of sketchy! There are tons of homeless in an homeless encampment nearby, but other than that, the motel itself was great.

The shower head could do with a replacement but otherwise all good.

  • Engine customer Feb 2026

It was an older building but had a really great old Parisian vibe The area it is in is actually quite unerving Rough characters and tent city a couple blocks away.

no teapot in the room - you need to go down stairs and ask for hot water. there is heater inside the room but anyway it was cold, especially in the bathroom.
