The location is closed by the heart of Montmartre. The breakfast is pretty good, organized and quick refill by the team very helpful with good varieties for the price. The housekeeping lady cleaned our room on a daily basis and was very smart to keep our kitten safe in the room The toilet is too tiny , if your height is above 1.70 cm, good luck! The shower splits water everywhere. Our room (724) was for 2 adults and one child's, too small, we cannot move. The apparatus of fitness was out of work, and no AC...I run away. The parking is not so far, but expensive despite the 10% discount.

Nothing much went well. One member of staff had a cheery countenance. It was handy for the Moulin Rouge. breakfast was good. The Wi-Fi wasn't working on 8th and 9th floors - for 5 days. On day 3 the maintenance man who was fixing our safe said it hadn't been reported. He tried to fix it but failed. Worse though was the inhospitable manner of staff. We tried to sit on the Terrasse. The literature had said that there was a terrace, a work area, a bar and something else. The lift sign and other signs have them all listed seperately but we were told the terrace was a bar (even though there were no drinks bar on it with no customers except for three young people under asleep under a tree, and that we MUST buy drinks to sit there. There was no other place to lounge except for a couple of camping chairs and a small sofa between the check-in desk and the elevator. Lastly, the toilet cubicle in our room was about the size of an airplane toilet, and painted grey. Most people's legs would touch the door! Claustrophobic space. Avoid this place and get an apartment.

Location was good. Poor quality towels and supplies enough only for one person. Staff required us to come to reception for additional towels. Foam pillows. One of three elevators broken, so had to wait multiple full cars to go down on Monday morning.

Have a central bright light in the bedroom.

The room size was very satisfactory, breakfast was good, there was an outside bar space with a garden and the location was very close to the metro Bed mattress was hard, room was a bit dark, staff weren't very helpful and overall the hotel didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. I've stayed at Mercure hotels a few times in Paris and in France and this time I was very disappointed. The bed mattress was so hard and when I went to reception the next day to ask for a possible room change or at least extra duvet to cushion, the employee wasn't helpful at all and just said all the rooms were the same and they couldn't give us extra duvet or pillows.

Nice location with a terrace, walking distance to sacre coeur. Noisy, a bit old fashioned

    Exceptional

Central location Drilling all day from the building next door. Impossible to rest. They need to close the hotel and claim compensation from the building next door until the works are completed.

The location was excellent, really close to Montmartre and near the Metro. In fact, the location is the only reason we would consider staying here again. That and the large, very comfortable bed! The room was of a good size and cleanliness was ok. The outside terrace was nice and the bar staff friendly. The aircon was terrible. We stayed during a 35 degree heat wave and the first night was unbearable. Came back on day 2 to two engineers in our room who were apparently fixing it. It was marginally better afterwards, but not what I would have expected from a central city hotel in this price category. There were building works going on in the hotel next to ours, which made the room incredibly noisy during the day. Due to the heat we had hoped to come back to the hotel for a rest in the afternoon, but that was impossible due to the noise. I can’t believe we weren’t warned about this at check in. Three times staff just walked into our hotel room in the morning! And on two of these occasions this was despite a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door!

The ac was great in the hot weather, having a mini fridge to keep drinks cool was also great! The hair dryer was very old fashioned and there could have been a biscuit on the tea and coffee tray.

Great location in Montmartre, close to Metro and Bus stops. We had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower from our window, the bed was comfy, good bathroom and excellent customer service at check-in and with our questions. AC worked well, plus there is a water bottle refill station with still or sparkling water! Nothing at all to not like - we loved our stay in Paris even in the extreme heat!
