Location was great Breakfast was delicious Best services were awful Very unfriendly We had issues with the key in the checkin and the receptionist asked to “ verify if it was Working otherwise I should come back to exchange the room”. It was their obligation to go with me and test it. If there was a problem THEY should solve it and not asking me to go back and forth. We had problems just after the checking with the bathroom: the shower drain was clogged. I called the reception and she couldn’t understand it in English. Asked AGAIN to go downstairs to explain (to play Mine, maybe?!). After changing the room, I called to ask what was voltage do the power outlets in the hotel provide? The receptionist said: “I believe it is 110”. Then I turned on my Dayson hairdryer and burned instantly 500 dollars because it for sure wasn’t 110. Terrible experience, most 500 euros in my hairdryer and nobody cares…

The soundproofing in the hotel generally was poor and there was noise from other rooms and from the outside. However I was out most of the time and I still managed to get decent nights' sleep so not a big issue for me. Best to bring earplugs! I do appreciate that it is an old building and that it is not possible to make improvements. The room was small, but as mentioned, it did not make any difference to me being a single traveller who was out all the time. A kettle and tea/coffee in the room would have been a nice touch though .

Disappointing

Excellent location very close to lots of restaurants and right by Republique Metro station. Decent breakfast, nice bed slept really well Rooms a bit small however you expect this from a converted building rather than purpose built hotel and let’s face it how much room do you spend in your room on a city break

The location was good and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They were the best point for this hotel. Thank you all. The breakfast, and the elevator was not working , occasionally .

The staff were friendly, but very junior - one was new to the job that day. No sign of the manager. There was an extremely strong odor form the drains & sewerage. Everything was very old and in need of preparation. It certainly isn't a 3 star hotel. We asked to change rooms but the other was in an identical state. We asked for some compensation but our request has just been ignored.

I like the fact that it was central easy to get to place such as the Eifel tower and local restaurants. The accommodation was the worst I've been to since using hotels . The room was tiny, we could hardly move in the room, the shower was so small we couldn't shower together The decorations were old carpet old the lift can only take two people. The breakfast was only bread and eggs that can only be boiled, and u have to boil the eggs yourself ? and croissant. It was so tacky I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
