It was close to where I had to be and I had small view from the toilet. Bed was comfy. the hotel reception could be just tiny bit fancy or the area in the stairs could be improved with some painting. But overall good care of everything.

Great hotel position in an interesting neighbourhood. Great proximity to the Avenue Verte cycle trail. Clean, secure, airy room. Bike storage. The hotel is listed under the Acceuil Velo logo which includes safe bike storage in its policy. Our initial contact with the staff was not positive and we were reluctantly shown an area where we could store our bikes but we had to carry them up a flight of stairs.

The staff is amazing, very accomodating and just nice people. The location is good as it is close to gare du nord and is in a very cool neighbourhood of Paris. The room is clean and has enough space to be comfortable. Bathroom is clean and with decent shower. Because it's a not so modern building, there is a bit of noise (closing doors and people walking in the corridor)

Nothing Facilities is bit outdated. No lift. Simple reception setup. Small room. Aircon is not working during my 3 nights stay. Was told it was faulty but never able to commit when it can be fixed. It was not informed when check in. My room is facing the main road outside with bus stop just opposite. It has heavy traffic day and night. If you open the window, it is too noisy. However, it is too hot if you close it. Terrible. Very close to 1 metro station but it is a sub-line which it runs less frequently and have to wait. If you walk to the other metro station, it is about a 10 mins walk downhill. It means uphill when you walk back.

It was quite characterful and quirky Our bedroom with two single beds was very small and dark as the window looked into a public courtyard so you couldn’t have the curtains open whilst still having privacy.

The staff member we dealt with (I think her name was Tess) was excellent. The location was really good too - close to a number of metro station as well as Gare du Nord. Additionally, the AC was a nice to have. The room wasn't as pictured, the lock on the door was a bit dodgy and our room was right on the main road which was quite loud. There was also no kitchenette or mini fridge in the room. Probably was a bit expensive for what it was.
