Excellent location and the tiny spa was a bonus. Lacklustre welcome. Much smaller than expected with limited space in the breakfast room. Room much smaller than expected, too. If it hadn't been for the recent refurbishment, I might have sought out a different hotel for the night.

We were really happy about our room (we got the deluxe). It was really cosy, and the bed was really comfortable for two people (it wasn't too small). We could sleep comfortably in it. The aesthetic of the room was also really nice, and the pictures really showed it all. The girl at the check-in was nice. Overall, we had a nice stay. Our room was next to the elevator, so every time someone used it, we could hear the loud noise. It was very frustrating, especially at night and early in the morning. We mentioned this to the staff. I also asked them if we could change rooms; however, the hotel was fully booked, so we ended up staying in that room. I must say that the noise the next day decreased (because there was also another noise coming from outside our room), but still the elevator was very annoying. Plus, we could hear a family with kids in the room next to us, so I must say that the rooms are not very soundproof, but for a Parisian boutique hotel, I think this is what you get. I don't recommend the breakfast. 20 euros per person; I don't think it's fair for what you get. First of all, the food is not really good and doesn't even have much choice. Second, there is no table service, and the room with the buffet is tiny, so you had to wait your turn to get your food. We had breakfast only once, mostly for this reason. There are a lot of nice pastries and bakeries in the area, so we went to them for breakfast, and it was perfect for us. So, if you are looking for a hotel with comfortable beds and in a nice area of Paris, go for it! But if you want nice service and extra things, this hotel may not be for you. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the 8th Arr. with a cozy seating area on the ground floor. A plethora of great cafes, brasseries and shops within minutes walk from the hotel. Very comfortable room with air-conditioning. Restaurant recommendations from the hotel were also spot on. Unfortunately our room looked out onto a high cemented wall with absolutely no view.
