Kota Restaurant & Rooms

Really tasty cooked breakfast, salmon and eggs - but everything had to be requested. There was no 'help yourself to juice, pastries, fruit etc' - even we were told though these were available. Breakfast was also not served until 9am. The waitress was accommodating and helpful, (providing more coffee when asked for) but as we were in a hurry to get on the path for our day's walk, it was a little tricky. Instructions for access were completely wrong - wrong lock box, wrong apartment. After walking 28km and arriving late (with pubs not serving food after 9pm) - this was very frustrating. The staff at Kota restaurant helped out, eventually we accessed our apartment up the stairs - not through the double frosted doors as per the instructions.

Milk and water in rooms! Loved it!

Spacious room and bathroom. Location right on the harbour front. Tea, ground coffee, fresh milk and bottle of water in fridge. Built-in wardrobe.

Clean, well appointed room. The accommodation is on the roadside and adjacent to a car park, both of which are busy and noisy well into the night.

A lovely room in a good location. Staff were very helpful and friendly at check in. It was quite cramped for two people.

We know the location & love Porthleven in general. Would have liked a bath but chose the room based on Size & Harbour view also would have liked the breakfast included in original room price.

Very warm and helpful welcome the location was near the harbour very comfortable room and spacious bed.I’ll look forward to a return visit.

Great location to sample all the wonderful restaurants near by as well as a lovely walk around the harbour Not really a negative but just be aware that you will have to park up in one of the two overnight car parks and the one we ended up in is about a 8-10minute walk away. Ideally drop off your bags prior to parking.

Location was ideal. Just cosy for one. Bed sooooo comfortable. Staff really helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was extra and fairly ordinary. They had run out of yoghurt. Accessibility of staff. Had to wait all day to get fresh towells. Monday and Tuesday seem to be their day off so it was hard to get hold of anyone.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Good storage for all toiletries in bathroom. Great outlook onto harbour and centrally situated for all restaurants/ cafes and drinking ? establishments. Staff on hand to cater for any requirements. Nothing
