Econo Lodge Panama City St. Andrews

The rooms were adequate for the price but could use some updating. The location is really good for access to PCB and St. Andrew's State Park.

The room looked nice. They were upgrading some of the rooms. The pool area was nice, no shade for it. The room we were in was a kitchenette. They installed a new refrigerator in the room while we were there. Free parking with lots of space. Close drive to the beach. Happy with our stay.

Not it was cool

The shower knob was missing a part, you could not select the shower head alone. Water came out half through the shower head and have through the tub faucet. When we came into the room it smelled like mold cleaner… very suspicious! The pool was so dirty!!! You want to expect to catch a disease! Gross! The pictures are super outdated. Nothing looks as nice at all anymore. The fire alarm was missing the battery! So of no use at all! I remember Econo Lodge from back in the days, but this is nothing like that anymore.

This was pretty good stay.

Dirty, stuff not working

Bed felt like sleeping on concrete. People partied all night. Vending machine didn't work.

It was dirty. Owner used trash can to dip out water from pool while we were inside. Disgusting. Dead roaches and horrible smell in bathrooms. Bed coverings dirty. People fighting all night and staff did nothing about it.

Alberca muy sucia

Having spilled part of a beverage on the tile floor and cleaning it up, it was apparent that the floor had not been mopped in quite a while. Using one of the white bath towels to clean the spill showed quite a bit of dirt on the floor. I know mopping is not a regular after-stay job but this obviously was long over-due and quite filthy.

Will go back next time I go to Panama City in a year. Comfortable place.

Few stains in the room

I absolutely love this hotel! Even though the pool water was too hot for me to swim in, there were so many things around the hotel that the pool was not even an issue. I had zero issues at this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity! The breakfast wasn't very good either, but that's okay. They had coffee and that's all that mattered.

The microwave did not work and I didn't like that at all.

I loved the room service and free breakfast. The kids really enjoyed the pool.

Everything the staffing was rude and didn't explain nothing

I really liked having a kitchen with a full size stove with oven. Unfortunately there were no cooking utensils provided to cook with like we have had in other hotels. The breakfast was really small, just grab and go muffins with coffee and juice. The price was affordable and the location wasn't horrible.
