The location is very convenient for the beach on the west side of the peninsula and an easy 5-minute walk/stroll into the central part of the town. There were ample dining choices just outside the hotel For perspective, my wife and I have travelled for two months each year for 8 of the past 10 years throughout Europe, 17 countries in total. We have stayed in hundreds of accommodations, AirBnB, Hotel, B&B, Apartels etc. and have NEVER had the management dictate how the HVAC is controlled in our room. This hotel had a standing policy that during the night your room has no air conditioning other than an inadequate ceiling fan. Our room was 28 degC at night. I mentioned it to the desk staff and they claimed there was nothing they could do about it. There was no way to cool the room during the day as all power to the room is shut down when the guest is not in the room. The outside temperatures at night were slightly below 25 degC but the entire building heated up well above that during the day and retained the heat. Opening windows for a breeze was out of the question due to street noise. All in all a very uncomfortable experience. Bizarre! ALSO, they front desk policy was that you turn your key in when you leave your room and place in in a rack sitting on the front desk, NOT behind the counter as in most hotels. The desk staff claim they monitor to ensure only the guest retrieve their respective key. However we noted many instances where the staff was off to the bathroom or elsewhere and the front desk was unattended. Crazy. Needless to say we avoided placing our key in the aforementioned rack to ensure our room was as secure as possible. A real head shaker!

Great location Just by the beach From the room you can hear a lot of noise from the corredor, perhaps because is an old hotel.

Location is absolutely the best, right infront of the beach. Lots of public free parking space, on the street, right infront of the hotel. Suite did not have anything extra, other than shower body gel+shampoo in the toilet. For that price, there should be atleast water bottles included, in the fridge.

Simple but very nice structure on the Paleochara seafront. Cinfortables bads, large room, good breakfast At 2 minutes from the beach and 5 from the ferry harbour, staff very helpfull and friendly. Shower to be made modern.

Although they stated on their website they offer air conditioning, the A,/C was not functioning,I the reception they told me that in October is not warm enough, so they switched it off, breakfast was very poor, room was small and not pleasant, staff was nice, you can find better place around for your money

Right on the beach and close to bars and restaurants. Friendly, clean and very helpful.

This is my second time at Pal Beach and each time my experience and expectations are met. Lovely staff, lovely rooms and wonderful location. I have no negative feedback.

Good

The location is superb and our spacious room overlooked tamarisk trees and a sandy beach and had a spacious balcony with very comfortable cushioned armchairs. We liked having a second room with a settee which we used as a dressing room with the suitcases. However, we understand that most of the rooms are at the side with no view. Also we were very pleased to find a bath and plentiful hot water. We have a favourite place elsewhere for breakfast but had the hotel breakfast once and it was fairly basic, and internal with no view.
