Hotel Glaros

Everything was great! The breakfast was good, and the hotel staff were very kind and polite. The TV could be a bit bigger.

Parking was easy and location was fine. Unfortunately our experience was negative from the beginning. The room was not made up for our arrival; bed was unmade with the sheets just left folded on the bed, no soap for the bathroom and no key for the safe. Requests for these items were met with a level of indifference. We asked for a change in room and were told he would get back to us, however this never occurred. The light fixture in the room was hanging out of the ceiling, exposing the wiring, and there was no place to put your toiletries in the bathroom except on the floor. On the weekend, the dirty breakfast dishes were left on the tables which did not create a pleasant atmosphere nor many options to sit. I would NOT recommend this accommodation.

Glaros Hotel was a wonderful stay! The hosts were exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The room was excellent, with efficient air conditioning and a large balcony to enjoy in the evening. The water pressure was great, and we always had hot water. The shower cabin was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was also fantastic, offering a wide selection including sandwiches, eggs, omelets, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, milk, fresh orange juice, coffee, and jam. We could easily park on the street right next to the hotel without any issues. Highly recommended! Nothing to mention here. Everything was great. We will return for sure next year :)

Super happy with our stay. GREAT value for money! We had to park in the narrow streets but the owner helped us with finding a spot nearby. Clean rooms with the necessary facilities and sweet small details. Tasty breakfast and really GREAT hosts who were super helpful and kind, gave us very valuable advice and accomodated our earlier check out. The only issue is that there were no nets on the windows. It was super hot but I did not want to sleep with the AC on as I feared getting a cold and we had to choose between having the windows open and having tons of mosquitos or having them closed and dying of heat :D In the end I slept badly. I would seriously reccommend getting nets!

The hotel is just outside of the main street of Palaiochora, in a quieter area. The breakfast area is on a terrace in the garden. Moreover the ferry dock and the beach were within 5 minutes walking distance. We had a problem with our toilet, but the host came right away to try fixing it. The hotel could undergo a little renovation.

Perfect location, quiet but only a few minutes walk to either of two beaches. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. Good for people who like walking and nature. I would have liked toast and jam with breakfast but it was still good.

Very quickly chosen, I didn't even expect this hotel is going to be so good. Family-run, very friendly and helpful team, feels like home. (Crete basically does give this feeling) Very! clean (and I'm very demanding). Also I really liked how it's situated - main street round the corner, equal distance to both of the seasides. Though Palaiochora is small and everything seems close, I think it's a lot better than right near the beach or close to мыс. Also I was lucky to have a great mountain view from the balcony (though never specially asked for that) and spent some nice time with a book there too ?? Breakfast included in price is simple, but if you want more you can always go round the corner to the main street and literally in 2 minutes have whatever you want in one of the local cafes. Old but clean property on a very good location. Great hosts always there smiling and ready to help you!
