Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Great stay!

We had to change hotel room, as when we walked in the room smelt very very bad. The carpets were dirty and the furniture had seen better days, chips all over. The sheets had a few rips and my son found what looked like lip stick on his pillow. Have stayed at this resort before and loved it, but this stay has now put us off. On a positive the check in was easy and express pass worth it. August 2026

We always use this hotel whenever we are visiting Universal and are never disappointed. All staff are excellent and go out of their way to please. You are really close to the parks and City Walk, plus there is the added advantage of a large swimming pool. Highly recommended.

This is our third stay at this hotel. We find it a great location as it is close to the parks and you also get the express passes which is so beneficial. The rooms are clean and fresh looking. We would probably go for two rooms next time as we need more space, even for one night. Only grumble is that it has two bottles of water in the room but doesn't say if they are complementary or chargeable. Our staff member on reception was lovely and commented on our matching Thing 1 and 2 t-shirts.

Beautiful hotel , staff friendly and efficient, pool area was lovely and food in restaurants really good . Added bonus is the included fast passes for Universal theme parks (not Epic)

The water taxi in the morning was a relaxing way to get to the parks. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. Great place to stay if visiting Universal.

Beautiful hotel and brilliant experience

Stayed for one night at this beautiful property and if your looking to go to Universal and Islands of adventure I wouldn’t recommend it enough to stay here. The convenience is unmatched, with access to unlimited fast pass and the Boating service, it made going to the parks a breeze.

Depending on the staff you talk to they were friendly. The service staff were excellent and patient with us. But the two staff on concierge were quite cold when I asked for some advise about the hotel. They need to work on their customer service when I checked out today. I asked the man with the glasses and I couldn’t quite hear what he said and he started speaking in slowly in a patronising way. I also asked about the show that the hotel do downstairs and they same person assumed I wouldn’t be able to afford it but gave me the leaflet anyway.

Attractive and well run hotel. Express passes and boat to US and IoA parks worked well. Pool was hot but good fun.

Chambres très propres, accueil parfait, personnel sympathique! L’enregistrement est long, car les agents prennent le temps de nous expliquer en détails les commodités de l’hôtel ainsi que les accès aux parcs. Nous avons mangé des sushis au restaurant de l’hôtel: bons, mais ne valent pas le prix payé.
