Hotel Trend Okayama Ekimae

The location! Very close to the E-ON mall and bullet train, local train station. Nice walking distance to the Korakuen and castle. The breakfast was great for traditional Japanese items choice lover. And very inexpensive. Have to take an elevator to get to the hotel lobby, which is very small space. Some confusion about my room,but it was solved quickly.

The breakfast is limited

The hotel itself is basic, but it is clean and offers the expected amenities. The lobby also has a shelf of manga to borrow. The room did not feel too small to me and I had no problem falling asleep on the bed. The staff were very nice and helpful. It doesn’t stand out, but it was about what I expected and I appreciated the simple convenience.

The room was so quiet! I have stayed in many hotels in Japan, this was the best sleep I have had in hotel in a long time! I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff were exceptionally friendly as well! There is nothing I did not like. The hotel was just that comfortable.

Beds were comfortable, there was complimentary coffee and tea and coin laundry room on the 4th floor. During cck in I was told there was only a smoking room available. Since I can'ts stand the smell had to upgrade the room and pay twice the original fare to stay at a non-smoking room.

I have no complaints about this hotel, it was great!

Great little business hotel close to the station. I appreciated the very warm welcome from the staff. The convenience store downstairs is handy too.

The hotel is well equipped with everything you need for your stay, no matter the length. You can take different amenities freely at the reception floor. It looked like there was a humidifier, and other things you could borrow was you needed them. Breakfast is also an option, but we didn't take it. They even had amenities for children that they got as a little gift bag. There was a microwave on our floor by the elevator, which I assume is the same for all floors. It looks like there was a little balcony on the floor, which a lot of smokers used. Checkout is as simple as dropping your keys off in a container so there's little contact as possible if that's preferable to you. Overall a pleasant experience for what we needed. I can recommend it if you need a place to stop over and don't mind the limited space in the room.

Walk less than 5min to the hotel fr korakuen exit of okayama stn. Microwave oven in each floor. Lawson store is at ground floor.

Exceptional

Was nice to be able to choose a soft pillow. Amenities also nice. Location convenient to Aeon mall which has tons of food and shops. Room was basic/normal. Not very soundproof, could hear person next door and coridoor.

The hotel is located perfectly, very close to the station. It is very clean and quiet. The breakfasts are typical Japanese thus might not be convenient for all guests. Staff is very kind and helpful, but desn't speak english. The hot drinks (coffee, tea) are served 15:00 pm-10:00 am for free. The room was small but enough. Comfortable and big bed. Shop just behind the corner. Boring breakfasts. Tiny bathroom. Strange organization of providing new towels (if you don't inform staff, new towels will appear hanging on your doors). Thre are no cabinets, only cloth hangers.

The front desk staff speaks very good English and was very helpful and professional. The bathroom size is small and sink drain was not working well.
