The staff was great, the location was great. The rooms and property were very clean. The roof-top pool is very cool! Only complaint is the elevator is really slow.

Great stay! Was able to book a last minute late summer birthday weekend getaway for me and my husband. Our room was clean and comfy, large balcony with ocean view. Mini fridge and microwave, comfy bed. Loved the huge shower with double rainshower heads. Staff was super welcoming and helpful (Rasheedah, in particular). Will definitely stay here again!

Very neat place. Helpful staff. Functional space. Great cafe downstairs. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

The lack of towels in both pool areas was a problem. The door of our room needs to be fixed. Room #502.

Very convenient, close to boardwalk!

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean from the private balcony which is my favorite part of any hotel. The walls must be thick because I never heard neighboring guests. Restaurant in the lobby has fantastic crepes and my morning coffee, which I took advantage of even tho the hotel provides coffee pot, coffee, sugar and creamer in the room’s kitchen. But… the sliding door to the balcony and oceanfront view had a massive leak in between the panes of glass and you couldn’t see through it, cldnt see the ocean unless you went outside to the balcony and because it was in between the panes of glass you cldnt clean it. The carpet was wet around one of the beds. Probably about 1/3 of the entire room’s carpet was wet so getting into bed I had to dry my feet first. Don’t know if a bad storm caused leak through door or if ac was leaking inside. Then the tub had some dark sand in it from previous guests but I carry a cleaner just in case 😉 However if I had another oceanfront room with these things fixed I’d stay there again because the staff, beach access and general location was nice.

Staff was friendly, good location, room was small but clean. There was only one elevator and it was sooo slow. Parking is a block away.

2 issues were our door to our room was extremely hard to open and took great effort to make sure it was closed. We were traveling with kids so to ask to move to another room felt like a mission. Also the black out shade did not cover the window so the light from the balcony which was on all night was frustrating. Other than that, our family had such a great time in OC and staying on the boardwalk was a treat.

I loved the location. The pool was nice. But there was no information in the room about the hotel once you arrived. You had to figure things out on your own. My daughter had the room across from us with her 2 young daughters. And her AC leaked constantly to the point they had to keep towels on the floor the whole time in order to keep her 1 year old from slipping and falling. Maintenance came and thought they fixed it but didn't. Second call to Maintenance they never showed up. We were also not happy about having to park off property. Had we known that we probably would not have chosen this hotel.

There was a noise I could hear late at night. It sounded like metal grinding on metal. It continued all nightand disturbed my sleep. There was only one elevator and it was very very slow to arrive. There is no parking at the hotel. It’s located a block away so you have to walk to get there. I did not know how crowded the lot got so I never moved my car which affected what I saw and where I went.

The room was overall was as it looked in pictures but it did have a slightly weird smell. Outside of that and the fridge needing almost a full day to cool the food, we enjoyed our stay! Our daughter really loved the room and was very happy all four days! We would definitely stay here again maybe just bring a candle lol

This hotel does not have any onsite parking. To park, they have a lot about two blocks away. The air conditioning in our room was very noisy. The rooms are not cleaned unless you request it.

The showers were nice and hot Staff was friendly and helpful

I loved the Monte Carlo Boardwalk’s location, overall vibe, and amenities, and the staff was absolutely top-notch. My only disappointments were that the pools are quite small and my second-floor balcony was literally right above people eating at Crepe Daddy. Since the boardwalk benches also face directly toward the hotel, there’s basically zero privacy at that level—it honestly felt a little creepy at times. Otherwise, a great stay and an excellent location.

the room was very clean and the staff very accommodating. it would have been good to know the parking arrangements prior to our visit. the location is excellent regarding beach accessibility. a shower to rinse off sand near the beach access door would have been great. the air conditioning unit however was very loud. a bath tub mat in the shower would be a great addition for security purposes. the water dripping off the downspouts at point of entry was very annoying though!!

Parking Lot was too far. My door sounded like it was coming off. Elevated took too long. They didn’t have enough carts for everybody to use for their luggage.

The location on the boardwalk was great the 5th floor oceanfront balcony was spacious and amazing. There’s only two spaces two shortly park to unload to check in then two blocks away is a small lot to park in for free. The hotel needs another elevator it’s slow and busy so waiting is part of the stay. Our room was nice but I’m in construction work and things could be addressed for the expense stay. Like the fine details of the bathroom especially it’s was small our toilet rocked side to side. Water dripped from the ceiling and the shower curtain was hanging down and didn’t stay closed. The mattress sounds like it come from big lots noisy and not what I’d expect for 550 a night.

Rooms are very nice - had a 2 bed, sofa, kitchenette room with oceanview balcony. There are only a few plates and cups provided in kitchenette. The elevator is eceptionally slow but there are easily accessible stairs. Location is prefect!
