Great staff, clean, amenities were great!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Aloft! Our room was clean, super pet friendly, and staff was available to address my questions. I really enjoyed relaxing at the out door pool.

I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. We were able to bring our dog and leave dog in the room to go out to eat and do activities. Excellent customer service at check in and out. First thing we saw was outdoor pool and bar area on the bay. After long trip it was nice to get seafood nachoes and the bar with strawberry daiquiri at the bar looking at bay. Having balcony with bay view was so relaxing for me, my daughter and my dog. Loved the room. Downside no microwave in the room, and no free breakfast

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. Booking.com advertised my room selection came with free breakfast. I had to pay for breakfast. I was suppose to have a bayside room and my room faced a BIG Tree! My room should have been cheaper!

The property was beautiful however I booked this trip for my daughter’s birthday for my three girls and my grandson and I had to drive out to Maryland on Friday of their stay because a maintenance man walked in their room aggressively and was being aggressive towards them did not announce himself what he was in plain clothes didn’t have on a name tag, and my daughters were very scared

Clean, fresh smell every time you walk in. We constantly saw employees cleaning which makes it more comfortable since it is dog friendly. The access to the pool/game room being close to each other, the bar at pool side & the drinks were reasonably priced, our balcony over the pool area was a plus - enjoyed the DJ from our balcony. Was not loud when you closed your balcony door. The tv in our room was a 50 inch, hung on the wall...not a little 32 inch. The private little bay area was nice for water activities or for dogs to enjoy a swim. The Manager at the pool bar stood out to us, he was outgoing and helpful. We ran into a minor situation and he handled it promptly and professionally. It was a nice atmosphere for all ages, families and couples; young or older. More towels available in the room for a family of 5 & more space for clothes to unpack. The price for the food was literally over priced, but at least it was an option. I'm glad we didn't have a need for the indoor pool, it was very small but a nice option if needed. There was no trash can other than the bathroom, make sure to bring trash bags or ask for them at the front desk. The beach was horrible with sand fleas, jelly fish and those awful greenhead flies during our stay but the hotel pool made up for it!

The location was great. Right between the bay and the ocean. The room was spacious and the balcony was a plus. The bed was comfortable. The staff seemed like they were not trained well. Many young people who lacked the right decorum. Uniforms were sloppy, hair messy and inconsistent service. I am a hospitality professional and I would say the manager needs to tighten up.

Manager Leah is exceptional, and Akira… I came back for my birthday for the second time. They provided excellent care for me. The hotel is amazing; the water view and pets stay free, and I loved that. The boat taxi ride to and from the hotel was amazing. So many great things come with the hotel.

Not cleaned well, mold and grime in the bathroom. dirty curtains and gum on the AC... Wish they had more amenities for the kids.

Great place to stay for families

Loved the location, the pools and the pool bar too! Room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Also, we got the free boat taxi to and from Seacrets. That was so much more fun than walking, and quicker too! Everything was great, just wish we could've stayed longer!

I didn't know I would have to pay for parking. Our bathroom door is a barn door that was too hard for us to close.

The app also offers the option to put in service requests (towels, amenities, etc.), and someone confirms the requests quickly, but then it's an hour or more before you actually receive them. The first two requests were marked as completed and never executed; we had to call down. Also, there are options in the app that the hotel doesn't have, such as a shaving kit, dental kit, etc. The housekeeping staff who came to my room had no idea what those were/didn't have them to give. The room we got had a sofa bed, but they didn't make up the bed or leave any sheets/blankets for us to do it ourselves. We had to request them, they were super delayed, and then we did it ourselves. Again, not the most convenient when there's a toddler and a dog running about. They LOVE piles of sheets lol. Lastly, the hotel was dog friendly, which was great, but the dog amenities listed on the website were not real. The dog bowls at the entrance were dry the entire time we were there, and we didn't see others around. There also were no designated pet relief areas clearly marked. They were allowed at no additional cost but that's where the amenities ended.
