Location perfect

The location. Close to the beach. Peaceful place. Friendly and helpful hosts. It is a little bit used in some place, or outdated.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hesselet and would happily return again. The highlight of our experience was definitely the staff, who were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. This was our first trip with our small dog, and we were honestly impressed by how dog-friendly the hotel was. We received a beautiful ground-floor room with a sea view and convenient access to the outside, which made walking our dog very easy without needing to pass through the reception area every time. The room was spacious, comfortable, and even better than we expected. We also really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, the spa area, and the billiards room. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide and tasty selection. Although dogs were not allowed inside the restaurant, the hotel kindly arranged a separate dining room for us so we could still enjoy breakfast together with our dog. The staff even brought a water bowl and a blanket for him, which we found incredibly thoughtful and appreciated very much. We truly felt welcomed throughout our stay, both as guests and as dog owners. Thank you for such a lovely experience, we will definitely recommend Hotel Hesselet to others and hope to come back again in the future. -

The location was good (but practical to have a car or a bike), the breakfast was just fine (basic), check-in at 14:00 The room was not clean enough, everywhere on top was spiderweb and in the corners where it is hard to see when quick cleaning. The room had a sense of old stuff, this could be especially felt when I was lying/sleeping on the bed, either the smell coming from the carpet or bed or curtains (or all), it seems the items in the room requires replacement with new. The the hand-shower did not work, but luckily ceiling shower worked but not always convenient with small kids. One should be very careful with the bath tube, it is super gliding, my kids hurt themselves inside several times inside the tube. The swimming pool was clean, however, it is super limited for kids (0-15 aged), for kids it had 3 time slots (6:00-9:00, 14:00-15:30, 18:00-22:00) given we could not use the pool the first day due to time constraint (kids finish breakfast at 8:00 and 1.5 hours during day time was very little), I asked the personnel if kids could use the pool outside of children's time as there was no one using the pool most of the time, fortunately she said yes. It would be very practical to include some toys and activities in the pool and hotel garden for kids.

Very cozy hotel. Nice location just on the seaside. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Nice and clean spa. Rooms are stylish with bathtubs which is really nice. When we checked in it turned out that the next day hotel is closing at 11 till Monday. It was a bit strange. Actually we had a plan to have lunch or tea after check out but we had to change our plans. Also would be nice to have coffee from the coffee mashing for breakfast instead it was just filter coffee.

Hotel Hesselet is a beautiful building on a prime site with fantastic views of the sea. It is full of traditional comforts and takes care of its guests. Nothing

Hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea, with a jetty that guests can use to swim from (but also has its own pool). Beautiful gardens, spacious public rooms, elegant decor. Parking is easy. The breakfast was reasonable but not quite as good as everything else; we have had better breakfasts in other similar hotels in Denmark. However, the setting and the level of service from staff were still excellent.

A nice hotel by the sea, and the free park yard is full of new Teslas and BWM cars. My Lexus was once among similar cars.
