ibis Nuernberg Altstadt

Location at the beginning of the Altstadt and close to the train station was great. Quiet, though on the main street. Staff were friendly. We were in room 608 which oddly has a spiral staircase in the room (goes over 2 floors and was accessible from the 5th floor). We were fine, but it would not be for someone with limited mobility since there were a lot of steps. Breakfast was too expensive for us (I think 15 Euros), so we got something from a nearby bakery.

Nepaisant to, kad kambarys buvo tiesiai virš restorano, nesigirdėjo absoliučiai jokio triukšmo. Kambarys net erdvesnis nei tikėjomės, radome viską, ko reikia. Personalas ypač paslaugus, jau išsiregistravus pasaugojo lagaminus iki skrydžio, kuris buvo vėlai vakare. Pačios geriausios rekomendacijos, jei norite patogiai apsistoti centre ir susipažinti su įspūdingu Niurnbergo miestu. Tokių dalykų nebuvo.

Three minutes from the train station this hotel is a great first stay after a transatlantic flight. It offers the option for a family of 3 to sleep in one room. The rooms are very clean but also very basic. I like the environmental considerations of minimizing waste by providing only one towel per person and offering bulk hair/ body wash. Bed was comfy, room quiet and air conditioning worked well. Staff is very friendly, check in easy. Next to hotel a good burger place. Price for the basic fair a little ambitious.

Our room was clean and the air conditioner worked well in hot summer. Our room was on the first floor and because the restaurant was on the same floor, there were lots of noises from 6:00 AM for setting up the breakfast which was annoying and didn't let us sleep well in the early morning!

Location is perfect right in the city center Rooms were a bit small, it's alright for 1-2 nights but a bit small for longer stays

It was loud at night/early morning but it's expected in Altsadt. Not really a big deal

Location is very very good. you can walk whole city no need even to take a metro. room is clean but cleaning service not perfect. they are changing towels if you wish.room is a bit dark as lightening is not enough. i didnt like how they clean the room.they clean room while table was not cleaned.

Everything was fantastic about the property, and the staff were extremely lovely. You can’t beat the location and the breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable. I was in room 101 and the shower door would not stay closed and even though I tried to hold it closed while showering so much water would get onto the bathroom floor. I stayed there for several days so it was quite annoying to have a mini flood to clean up every day.

I used this hotel for several times now. Good spot, in old-town. Close to central station Perfect for a short stay, breakfast is okay Nothing

I loved the windows and view of the alt stadt outside my window. The room was comfy, the bathroom was pretty spacious for a small one person hotel room (and the room itself was pretty spacious as well), and the hotel was conveniently located in the heart of the alt stadt and near all of the holiday markets. While I loved the view, the noise levels until later in the evening were unexpected. The parking situation was also a little complicated as you need to park at the Bahnhof and walk over to the hotel (which is in a pedestrian zone). The parking was an additional fee as well.

No place to stay, relax and chat apart from your room

Location of the hotel with easy walking to city center is fabulous. Easy to reach from main train station on foot. Breakfast was fresh and kept well stocked. If you want a central walkable location at a no frills hotel this is a good option and a good value for the location. Rooms on front of hotel were loud at night so opening the windows was not an option. Rooms are very small with a very small shower. There was not even a hook to hang a second coat at the doorway. No safe in the room.

The location is near the train station and a short walk to the old town. Good thing we only stayed for one night.

Location was superb! No coffee in the room, no hand towels available (small face cloths). You have to pay for everything! Come on I know it’s right by a major tourist attraction but give me a break!

It was a hotel with a good location and a good price. We stayed there one night. The elevator was a bit scary. I think the hotel was clean for the price we paid, but the best thing was its great location. The elevator.
