The location is what you are paying for. But the hotel rooms are not clean. Someone else's food was left in the kitchen cabinet. There were I-am-afraid-to-think-what-it-is stains on the towels. The cot had a "new" mattress that looked like my son was sleeping in a concave spoon. Not impressive at all.

The hotel room was very nice especially if you’re staying a few days. We were only there one night and didn’t have the opportunity to use all of the amenities. Tim at the front desk was very nice nd informative. The location is perfect and the parking was convenient. I would been happier if the bathroom counter was larger and if there was better lighting in the bedroom. We will definitely consider staying at the NBCR again.

Great location, kind staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very kind and helpful. They gave wonderful tips about the area and helped making the stay more enjoyable. While leaving we forgot something in the room. When they found the item, they shipped it back to us which was very thoughtful. Greatly appreciated!

Everything was perfect, clean and great location.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. A special mention goes to the lady at the front desk (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch), who was exceptionally kind and welcoming. She was friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It’s always a pleasure to be greeted with such genuine hospitality. The room itself was comfortable, although the furniture felt a bit dated. The main downside was that our room, like some others, faced the street and the restaurant’s outdoor terrace. It was very noisy until late at night, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

The room we had was right next to the noisy restaurant There is no main lobby. Barely a front desk manger at post. Things need to be updated. It’s tattered and worn.

Great location downtown, ac was awesome, big rooms with pullout couch and kitchenette a plus, parking included for one car in price, staff very nice

The Location is magnificent, the rooms are spacious, and feels very homey ,like renting an apartment or own house. Offering an option of an extra bed would be better than the sofa beds, sofa be was okay but those things are never that great, for a family of four wod have preferred 2 actual beds.

Check in was easy and quick. The Townhouse was clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice to have except for the seagulls that kept hanging around and squawking (I think past guests may have feed them). Parking is expensive 35.00 per day plus tax. Unfortunately it rained 2 of our 3 night stay but it was still enjoyable.

Wonderful suite, with well equipped kitchenette. The front desk staff was terrific. The woman at the front desk gave us a dinner recommendation. which turned out to be a great restaurant, delicious food. The building itself was very charming. And the observation deck was a big plus. Overall, an excellent inn/hotel.

Location Paying $40 for parking

Turned out to be a lucky find for us! Lovely room that felt very comfortable and was very convenient to local sights, restaurants, and shopping. Walkable to the Newport Gulls stadium, which was also one of our goals. I agree with some other reviewers that there was noise from adjacent rooms, but fortunately our neighbors were relatively quiet. Would stay here again to enjoy downtown!

We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always nice. Convenient location, onsite parking (additional $40 per night) and very spacious rooms that feel more like an apartment.

Great location, kind staff, comfortable stay

I had a fun vibe with an exceptional breakfast. We were on the 4th floor so a little tricky without an elevator but a really cool place. Elevator

Lew, Tim and team were very welcoming and helpful during our stay at Newport Bay Club. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The hotel itself could not be in a more ideal location. It is in the middle of everything!! Shops, restaurants, beautiful bay views, Bowen’s Wharf, Thames Street were all just steps away. Our room was clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect. Nothing. Everything was great.

Everything we needed and more. A little dated compared to chain hotels but comfortable and cozy. Easy walk to explore the town but plenty of shopping, bars and restaurants on the same block. Baseball stadium, aquarium, free trolley/bus, mansions, all very walkable. Relaxed, easy, friendly hotel.

Close to everything and parking right on property Asked for early check in and was told they would make it happen but didn’t until 3pm check in time
