There is never a person at the front desk. When you enter, you are greeted by someone on a perpetual video call, usually playing around on their phone and not aware of what was happening. There were a bunch of people outside the front doors blasting loud music and moving in lewd ways when we entered and exited. Hotel staff wasn’t present to solve any problem. We felt very unsafe and uncared for.

Room was clean...bed linens and towels were washed but extremely dingy......resurfaced tub was peeling....

Then we saw the room. The electrical outlets were broken and cracked, the air conditioner was leaking, the floors were visibly dirty, the bed linens were in poor condition, and the entire room had a strong musty, mold-like odor. We immediately asked to be moved to another room. Instead, we were only offered replacement linens. Since the linens were just one of several problems, that was not an acceptable solution. We literally walked into the room, saw the condition, and walked right back out. We did not stay at all, yet they refused to refund our money. We knew we were booking a budget hotel and weren’t expecting luxury. We were expecting a clean, safe-feeling, properly maintained room. We received none of those things. Refusing both a replacement room and a refund made an already terrible experience worse. We would not recommend Hometowne Suites.

Being out of the hotel Upon walking in the hotel its hot and smells horrible. You take a very sketchy elevator to you not so clean room. I mean the beds were made however the ketchup and boogers on the walls are very off putting. Well at least they have tv right.... well yes but the remote had no batteries and I couldn't get any until the next day when maybe someone not on a kiosk could help me .... oh yeah I forgot you check in on a kiosk with an actual human that's the only human interaction you will have unless you have an issue like not batteries. Overall for the price meh... go a little further and spend a little more it'll be worth it.

Our stay for our weekend trip to the beach was nice. It was nice, simple, and really helped having a full fridge and small kitchen when you have kids. Only negatives were the floor could’ve been swept and the tub could’ve been cleaned better, had to buy draino for both rooms I booked, the water pressure was bad in one sink to where it was just a trickle, and when someone had gotten belligerent they tried to handle it as best as possible, but allowed person to carry on for too long waking my kids and making us feel a little uneasy until it was over

No employee or customer service around

Not a damn thing! Wasn’t the type of room I booked, tv remote was broken, there was a wasp in my room, there was no stopper for the tub…the soda machine took my money. Why have a stove top if no pots/pans.

The location was close to my final destination. The facilities were old , amenities such as the TV did not work. The rooms were highly unclean , gross unknown stains.

Pictures are not true!! Looked better online then when we arrived couldn’t switch rooms. Bugs were seen

Nothing my room smelled bad I had to go out and buy a few items to make it smell better not only that my pillows had a dirty smell to them sheets was dirty and covers had a hole in them towels and rags was dirty had to go get my own the tub was a mess I refuse to wash it in that so I had to go get a shower mat and shower shoes over all this place is just nasty and I will never stay again The smell through the hallways and coming into you room

Does not look like the pictures at all bugs all in the room will never stay here again.

Our stay began with us being given the wrong key by the virtual check in person which opened another guests room. We knew this because all their stuff was still in the room laid across the bed. After fixing the issue the room we were moved to had the ac leaking, tv not working or remote, cracks in the walls stained sheets, even the complementary soaps were already open probably not replaced after the previous people who stayed. Lastly had house keeping walk in on us after we got checked in. After leaving and coming back to the room we come back to see our room ac off and the lights off not how we left it. For some odd reason we had a light bulb taken as well? Our items were fine (we hid them in the cabinets). The atmosphere was very bizarre after hours as countless individuals would be standing in front of the building. An affordable stay and I see completely see as to why I wouldn’t recommend.

No people to interact with. Check in and check out were done through a screen. The hotel, elevator, and our room smelled awful.

Allen’s was gud at the kiosk it was pretty cool and easy the rooms could.be more updated but overall it was ok

Nothing. This property should be condemned. It is filthy! Filthy property. The common spaces smell of urine and there was garbage everywhere. No staff onsite. I did not stay at this property and needed to find other accommodations.

I didn't want to rush recording mysekf anymore than I already did so I just left I essentially paid $150 to have to nuke all of my clothes to avoid bringing bedbugs home.
