The room decor was beautiful and the hotel itself lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly The spa has gone downhill incredibly since my last visit. It is tired, dirty, far too hot overall and requires maintenance. Not a relaxing experience anymore. Wouldn't return for this reason. Also the bedrooms, whilst lovely, are very hot with no fan or ac available

A dream location, amazing breakfast; when I gave an enthusiastic yes to coffee I was brought a full pot. Staff were eager to chat and offer help without needing prompting and went out of their way at every turn. The singer was an unexpected surprise too. The solidity of the building meant that there was no noise, even from the wedding. The layout of the building seemed to be such that we couldn't get from our room to the correct elevator down to the SPA which was accessible from a different floor. We ended up getting lost on the way down and back, while in robes. Scout it out before you're in a rush.

First impressions once you drive up are just wow. The reception area is very nice and welcoming and I was greeted immediately by very friendly staff. I had paid for an upgraded room with a sea view. The room was amazing, the decor was so tasteful and they even had a cupcake for my friend with Happy Birthday, I thought this was a really nice touch. We had a drink in the bar before dinner and the barman was so friendly and chatted about local attractions and the local gin, he was very knowledgeable and good company. We ate in the restaurant, the menu has a good selection and our food was really delicious. Breakfast the next morning was also tasty and staff were very friendly and professional, the breakfast room was exceptionally busy however the staff remained on top of cleaning tables and getting fresh food out. I think 4pm check in is exceptional late, especially when its an expensive hotel to visit, this was a real treat and I feel 4pm is almost evening time when perhaps only staying one night. We visited during the summer months so had plenty of day light for a stroll on the beach out front, however come autumn / winter it will be dark shortly after check in.

Glad to see the spa was quiet and very clean. Small brochures or details about the town woud have been helpful.
