When eventually getting the room which we had booked the next day we found the room sufficient for a weeks stay in New York. Being able to take our Breakfast to our room was a bonus. Also, we where able to bring food in and cook ourselves. When arriving earlier then we had informed the Suites we where told by the Manger that the room we had been booked (which was a City View and a full Kitchenette) had been given to someone else and when we queried this he said that they had pre paid and our was an holding booking through Booking.com to which we was very disappointed by this and the room we where given was very tiny and we could not unpack properly which spoilt our first full day and we where left wondering to what sort of room we would get. We eventually got the room we asked for but the city view was rooftops and a part view of the Empire State Building (See photo attached) not what is advertised on Booking.com. When we questioned this apparently the pictures are from the adjoining hotel not TownePlace suites so there is some false advertising on this site. Also, TownePlace suites only have 22 floors and the Spring Hill the adjoining hotel is from 23 to 44 which as got the better city views. As for the Manger of TownePlace he needs better training in Customer Services and except that he was at faultwith letting our room go.

Clean room, in the middle of Manhattan I paid for 4 nights in a room with a kitchen. However, when I arrived, I was told that the room was unavailable and that I would be able to move into it the next day. So they placed me in a smaller room, and I had to check out and check in again.

just outside the square, easy use, valet, room felt personal and comfortable despite it being smaller in size. bathroom was clean and modern. The staff was outstanding, super helpful and very friendly! this hotel was worlds above the Hilton Times Square that I stayed in the night after (and it was a quarter of the price!!!) n/a

The location was great, very close to the subway and within walking distance of many attractions. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great choice for a stay in NY. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Nothing to complain about. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great, great location and clean room. Too loud Air conditioning.

The location was excellent, lots of great places to see within walking distance. Easy access to subways for downtown and uptown The room was clean, but fittings in the room are in need of updating. The buffet breakfast was ample, but didn’t change at all in the 7 days we were there. No kettle in the room, but you could get a cup of tea in the foyer, however The hot water was often just lukewarm.

My main issue was with the daytime staff. Unfortunately, they were unfriendly and at times disrespectful. We were also given incorrect information, and when we tried to clarify the situation, they made us feel as though we were the ones who had made the mistake instead of simply acknowledging the miscommunication. It was frustrating and definitely affected our experience. On a positive note, the night staff was completely different, much friendlier, more helpful, and pleasant to deal with. Overall, a clean and conveniently located hotel, but the customer service during the day could really be improved.
