Location and staff

Room was very clean. Housekeeping did a great job! Some areas like the eating space could use upgrade. Worn but clean. Small self-serve vending area in lobby was useful and reasonably priced. Staff was welcoming and courteous.

Excellent location, we walked from and to Penn station with suitcases in less than 10 minutes each time. Only downside of the location was the noise from traffic and sirens through night. We were on the 4th floor as well so pretty low and facing the front of the building. Only had breakfast once but then preferred to eat out. Plenty of food choices locally. Great to have a fridge in the room and air conditioning was well used! Room was cleaned every day which was great. We would stay again, but maybe ask for a room higher up. The staff were really friendly.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was extremely convenient for getting around the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated the air conditioning and overall comfort of the room. It was a great place to stay during my trip to New York, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The location of this hotel is perfect for midtown, and make it very easy to get around the city. The mattress in the room was comfortable. Appreciated the amenities provided in the bathroom as well as its size. Water being present throughout the day at the ground floor is also really appreciated! The breakfast is a little bit of a joke... while I appreciate that it is included in the price, the chaos every morning makes you question if it is worth it! It is really not a relaxing way to start the day. The space is extremely cramped, all the couches are in terrible condition, and if you find space to sit, it is your lucky day. I really wonder why they don't have staggered entry for breakfast, and assign slots to people during check in for when they can have breakfast. Additionally, the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. While overall it was fine, the overflow hole in the sink was extremely disgusting, where I could see hair and dirt that had collected overtime from previous users! The shower curtain also had a moldy smell. Furthermore, the ice and water machine on the 9th floor did not work. Lastly, the very noisy air conditioner made it difficult to have undisturbed sleep.

The location was excellent…just a stone’s throw from many of the main attractions. The Empire State Building, Times Square, and other popular spots were all within walking distance, which made getting around really convenient.
