Umberto communicated with us well and met us on arrival. He gave us a really good summary of the city and recommendations for food to get us started. Umberto was always on hand to answer questions and sort issues out. The property is well located to explore Via toledo and the historic old town. It is not 24-hour staffed, so is more a hybrid between a B&B and self service property. There is no breakfast but plenty of cafes nearby. Umberto provides coffees and teas. Umberto was flexible with our check out time which we were thankful for. He also helped organise the taxi to our next destination. It is a mid-range stay - enough for what we needed for 4 nights. The area takes some time to get used to but you get to stay in the heart of authentic Napoli. Unfortunately there was hair left from the previous guest in our bathroom on our first night. We have fed this back to Umberto.

Amazing place, amazing location, amazing host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic location, very conveniently located to the centre of the city. Our host was there to meet us and check us in and was super flexible with our check-out (thank you!). Everything was good! If you have luggage, would recommend getting a taxi, there is a small hill to climb to get to the property (we had small bags so it was no issue).

Location, hospitality, everything was perfect!

Stay was convenient and accessible to everywhere. We walked the entire stay for food and exploring. It’s safe for families. The pool table was a bonus. It’s a quick stop to shower change and head back to the hustle outside. Just need a bigger water tank, but understand circumstances

In the heart of Napoli at the beginning of Spaccanapoli you will find this amazing place in a traditional house with a big gate, big steps leading in spacious and beautiful rooms. The host are just the best and so friendly and helpful with many recommomendations. Book with breakfast. That we couldn't stay longer.

Very nice big room in a historic building; the location is very good, the staff is friendly and the breakfast was tasty. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks Umberto and Roberto! The airco in our room was very noisy, but we could sleep through the noise so didn’t mind too much.

We had two rooms which were very big. The bathroom was on the small side but we got by okay. The rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was limited but suited us perfectly. The cakes at breakfast were incredibly delicious! The hosts Roberto (who we dealt with pre check in) and Umberto, who looked after us each day, were both amazing hosts. Very helpful, kind and obliging. It was disappointing to discover that the second bathroom or the main bathroom was actually outside of the room. Although no one was likely to come up the stairs if they weren’t staying in our rooms, it was still something to have to leave the room for the bathroom. I wouldn’t have booked this room had I known. However, we did use the bathroom in the second bedroom (which had the single bed) and it was totally fine. The pillows were not very comfortable and there was only one pillow each. I like two. The air conditioning in the main room wasn’t as powerful as the one in the second bedroom. It was also super noisy. There was no air conditioning in the breakfast room which was probably the hardest part of staying here. The accommodation is on a hill so definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

We grew to very much appreciate the Spanish Quarters in Naples. At first one may be taken aback by the noise and the chaos, but soon you become very attached to Naples and its people. The suite was not lavish, but much more than adequate. It was interesting to live for a few days in an area which has existed for several hundred years. And yes, it is very safe. Roberto and Umberto go out of their way to make life comfortable. And the Neapolitans we met were kind and generous. A wonderful stay in Naples.

The hosts were excellent, Mr. Umberto contacted me via WhatsApp and gave me detailed instructions on how to get there. They are willing to adjust breakfast time base on our continence. We played pool table together, very gentleman! I can hear motorcycles passing by all night long, but I get use to it after day2.

What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were always available to assist us, whether we had questions about transportation, local restaurants, or sightseeing. Overall, the combination of a comfortable room, a convenient location, and the incredibly helpful staff made this stay a highlight of our trip. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Naples! While our stay was overall enjoyable, one thing that posed a bit of a challenge was the hilly terrain in the area. My parents are elderly, and navigating the steep streets was difficult for them at times. This wasn’t an issue with the apartment itself, but more due to my lack of research on the accessibility of the surrounding area. We still had a great experience, but it’s something to keep in mind if traveling with someone who has limited mobility

In the hustle and bustle of this exciting city, Spaccanopoli Suites was a haven, a delight to return to each day. Extremely well located, easy to get to, with very welcoming and supportive hosts - we loved it all and look forward to returning
