Hotel Daytona

The personal help from Gennaro was amazing. I was coming in off a train and trying to coordinate getting to the hotel. He was amazing helping with the taxi and all communication. After that, I arrived rather late and not feeling well. He was helpful to ensure I could get something to eat after I put my bags in the room. And, to top it off, it was one of the best meals I had in Italy! Nothing -

Price was good, staff spoke at least some English, There was a nearby club that was very loud but thankfully they stopped playing music so loud at like 11 or 12pm

The location and the personnel. They need to focus on the improvements of the rooms.

The hotel room walls were dirty and the rooms were smelly and oddly decorated.

Construction everywhere including rooms, common areas, hallways and stairwells. Rooms were not finished.

The heat did not work. We had to ask for extra blankets. Only one towel in the bathroom. Walls were chipped and dirty. Bed was hard and squeaked.

Nothing Wifi didn't work. Had no water in the shower. Horrible location.

So dirty!! There was hair all over our room. Shower had mold all over. The walls had patch work and stains all over. Weird smells everywhere you went in the place. Only booked for one night before our flight, I’d rather save the money and stay up all night at the airport. Booking.com mentioned a shuttle, it’s not- it’s a €30 charge for a random car (not registered taxi) to take you almost to the airport. You have to walk some of the way because they aren’t a registered taxi and can get in trouble. This place should’ve cost €20-30, not €90

N/A The hotel lists an airport shuttle service as one of the amenities they provide. When it can close to the time of my arrival (which was after the free cancellation date), I contacted the hotel and asked about the shuttle to which they replied that they could reserve a taxi for me at a cost. 1) That is not a shuttle service, and 2) I can obviously get a taxi on my own. I felt this was a misrepresentation of the hotel and their offerings, so l cancelled and asked for a refund which they declined. Furthermore, I later received an email message stating that the hotel was reporting me as a "no show" which was not the case, as I formally cancelled the reservation through the booking.com app. Once again, this property is very misleading. I am in the process of asking booking.com to intervene on my behalf and issue a refund. However, it is impossible to connect with the booking.com chat to communicate with a representative. All in all, a very bad experience.

staff shower was silly as water ran over the floor

Thin walls, I could hear couple having sex like it was a meter away.

Our room was very clean. When we walked into the lobby, there was so much perfume air freshener that we were having trouble breathing. When we walked into our room, there was a very strong air freshener scent that was horrible. We had to open the windows immediately. There was also a lot of exterior road noise, airplane noise— and we even experienced a live concert that went on for two hours in the evening while we were trying to sleep. The music was so loud that we could hear the words and the host of the show.

Staff was amazing No early check-in fee and I stayed until noon, they even called me a taxi. The place is spacious and homey.
