The quality. Breakfast ala carte was great. Super gym for sport people. Swimming pool on the roof exceptional. We had big problem with electricity. The lights was turning on for whole the night awakening us. The next day it was luckily solved. The big surprise was that to rooms for 4500€ was added without asking and permission 229€ to bill. Later when I started asking what is it about, appeared that it’s not obligatory and can be removed. But first the staff asked me to pay that amount on checkout bill with other positions. It was very not elegant. In my country that would be considered as theft attempt. Not acceptable in hotel this class and price imho.

Location is disappointing—it's directly in front of the port and nowhere near as scenic as hotels like the Vesuvio or the Excelsior, which offer truly spectacular views. Unfortunately, my experience was also affected by several very uncomfortable situations. I stayed at this hotel with my two children during the first week of July after traveling from the United States. At check-in, the staff only asked for our passports and a credit card, as is standard in most hotels. However, when we returned at the end of July for just one night before our flight home, I was unexpectedly asked to prove that I was the children's mother because they do not share my last name. The request was made in front of my children, and I was even asked to call their father to provide some form of confirmation. I found this extremely inappropriate and insensitive. The staff had no idea of our personal circumstances. They didn't know whether we were divorced, whether their father was deceased, absent, or simply unavailable. There are countless family situations, and no one should be put in the position of explaining such private matters in front of their children. Moreover, very few people travel internationally carrying their children's birth certificates. If this is truly the hotel's policy, it should be applied consistently to every guest and clearly communicated before arrival so families can come prepared. Instead, it felt arbitrary and unnecessarily humiliating. The second issue was even more concerning. My room had been fully booked and prepaid before my arrival. I provided my credit card only as a guarantee for incidental charges. At checkout, I paid for everything we had consumed during our stay. After returning to the United States, I discovered that the hotel had charged an additional $2,000 to my credit card without my authorization. It took several phone calls before they finally acknowledged that it had been a mistake.

Romeo Hotel — Very welcoming front desk, excellent and knowledgeable concierge, and a friendly, helpful portier. The bed was very comfortable. Location is great! What I didn’t like: the lobby feels like it’s missing a bit of soul, despite features like the water fountain. Breakfast was just okay—croissant and pain au chocolat were fine, but I expected more given there’s a 1★ Michelin restaurant in the same hotel. Everything is à la carte, and the staff could be more attentive. Overall, the value for money isn’t really there. it feels like the hotel has lost a bit of its spark. I also asked to extend my stay for 3 more and requested a better rate abut the response felt a bit rigid and not very accommodating, so I decided to check out.”

The property is immaculate and very clean. The decor is captivating in the lobby area. The staff was very welcoming and made sure we were happy and taken well care of. There are more than enough places to eat nearby as well as shop. Most places to shop are no more than a 20 minute walk. The city is pretty dirty but at least this hotel is a gem. The pool's view of Vesuvius is nice. The port can be an eye sore but for those wanting to be near the port this is the best choice. The bathroom design is highly dysfunctional. There are a series of steps to perform just to turn on the shower. The door to the shower cuts in front of the bidet. There are more than 5 light switches to control different keys of the room and bathroom. I can understand being creative and innovative but it can be stressful just figuring out how to take a shower and when going to sleep what switch controls what light in the room.

The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! The location by the port was dirty with a ton of traffic! Lots of air pollution from all the cars and ships!

Clean rooms. Very nice view from the rooftop. Really tasty breakfast. Overpriced „sea view” is just a view at the warehouse that obscures the port and sea. Bad rotten smell at the reception. Add to that just-decent staff that added 50E tip to the checkout bill without asking(!) If I didn’t check the bill, they’d just charge it by default. Place felt like a rip off.

poor facilities in room, inconvenient location of plugs (under the table), not enough seating for a junior suite; English language TV channels did not work for two days that we were there.

Enjoyable size of the room with view of the Vesuve Great fitness area Good breakfast à la carte Nice Spa area Easter decoration with free chocolate Pool closed and no information about it on the website or during booking Busy car roads in front of the hotel and the windows are not blocking all the noises
