Compass Cove Resort

The room, (1563) was dirty, toothpaste on bathroom door, some yellow build-up in shower, not properly dusted in months. Appliances broken & rusty light fixtures, and fridge. The room actually looked liked it had water damage. Also, it had a very loud mildew odor. There were other maintenance issues, door not locking properly and the bathroom door not closing. We contacted front desk and both maintenance and housekeeping came, however, some things we were told was out of there control. They did what they could, and it was after 9pm. I spoke with a manager about the issues and room given, and let her knew that per my booking through 3rd, that the room presented was an updated room,not the undesirable room we were given. However, she told me I should contact the 3rd party, to let them know about updating the picture??? I didn't have that issue last month when we booked via 3rd party and received what was pictured and we paid for. The manager again offered to send housekeeping/maintenance. No thanks. We would have kindly appreciated being offered what we booked. We decided to check out early and stay elsewhere. (BEST DECISION)We will NOT stay here again. And please, stop blaming 3rd party booking.

ROACHES!! Do not come this place has roaches we stayed for three nights and not once did they bring us clean towels, even after reporting it to the front desk leaving our room to go to the front desk and calling room service three times we had to go downstairs to the pool area and use the pool towels that are really just large rags they charge you for breakfast you’re not allowed to smoke anywhere on the property except one small bench on the side of the building even if you have a balcony and they are handing out $250 fines like it’s free ice cream if they catch any smoke coming out of your mouth they also stated they have Starbucks. It’s regular nasty coffee in a Starbucks cup. The place stinks like cat piss because of all the stray cats that run around the pools that people feed. We also had to jump out of the pool because a raccoon came walking onto the pool deck this place scammed me do not recommend zero out of 10 other guests that were there told me that the resort was recently bought and has a new owner and that it has been downhill since then

The pools were great. Our room was completely unsanitary. We seen 1 dead cockroach on the wall as soon as we walked in then two live ones in the kitchen that night. There was food splatter all on the walls in the kitchen beside the stove and above where the trash can was. The stove was completely rusted, so was the shower. The carpet was filthy and we couldn’t go without shoes.

Right on the ocean front It's old but is well maintained After we checked in, we were sent over to a Time Share representative to pitch us to buy one. I didn't care for that. While waiting for our room, we ate at their restaurant on 2nd floor, they served us stale fish. My wife got diarrhea right away. On the day we checked out, all the ice machines in each floor were out of ice, we went down to the same restaurant above to ask for some ice for our long drive home, we were told they didn't have any.

All The Pools, Hot Tubs And Oceanfront

Great view of the beach. Pools were pretty good. Parking was good. It was very well located. There were hairs in the tub. The elevators were not very clean. The Restaurant didn't have seafood and it was a beach property.

Our room wasn’t not updated like shown in the pictures. When I checked in the front desk said Expedia overbooked the room I paid for and said they only had one other room available. The room we got didn’t appear to be cleaned besides the beds were made up. The hotel had trash all around the property. We ran out of toilet paper so I went to front desk to get more and was told someone would bring it to our room. Over an hour later I called back to check the status and finally 20 to 30 mins later someone brought us two rolls. The hotel needs maintaining better and some updates. I would not recommend staying at this location.

Only thing we didn’t appreciate was that the cleaning host stood outside our door waiting until we checked out at 11am texting and talking on her phone as if to say get out already.

The staff, beach view and the pool was great. The room was clean but had an old or mildew odor to it. The water drained slowly out of the bathtub and there was a leak at the drain pipe under the sink.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the resort. Hope to come back soon

No trash can in my room and my in laws room the refrigerator was leaking water in the floor and had flys everywhere

The room had a great view of the beach and was very clean and spacious.
