Bermuda Sands on the Boardwalk

I have stayed in hotels and resorts all around the world, and without a doubt, the Bermuda Sands is worst property I have ever stayed in. The entire place smells like cigarette and marijuana smoke, our room has insects flying and crawling around, the table in our room had two broken legs and was only held up by the wall it was leaning against. The valance for the drapes had apparently been ripped down at some point exposing the ceiling beam it was attached to, and table on the balcony was covered in black cigarette marks.

This place was very small and not many amenities. With the location of the room it was very loud due to it being right at the pool. I did not stay. It was a check in and check out process. It took me longer to get there than I stayed in the room. Only good thing is you can see the beach from around the corner but other than that I won’t book this place again.

Great hotel, great prices , and helpful staff. I love ,love , love this place .

Pleasant

Pros: the area was walkable and the beach was very nice. The boardwalk was great to walk on and gave wonderful views of the ocean and nice plants and trees growing nearby. The hotel allowed big breed dogs and didn’t charge a huge fee. The walls of the room kept noise out. The area felt safe and family friendly in August.

There was maggots in the tub in the first room and the second room had cockroaches and the TV did not work.

Passable

Nothing, was by far the worst experience we encountered for a travel vacation. Very dirty room with mold and bugs, no toilet paper and the room phone wasn’t hooked up so we could call the office. Nowhere nearly enough parking spots for everyone at that hotel, we had to park way on the other side of another building.

Staff at desk Cpl ladies were very nice but not all Housekeeping needs more training I do inspections and manage a hotel myself. And what I have seen was dissatisfaction

Nice hotel I loved the area it was in and how we could see the beach from the balcony the pool is very kid friendly overall 10/10 from me will definitely be back !

The view The room was dirty and the staff was rude to me! There was cockroaches and pee stains on the mattresses and used condoms in our night stand droor the tv was broken no deadbolt on door no remote for tv bedding was not changed floors were filthy!

Nothing Bed sucked. Room stunk. Pool was not clean. Not the stay I wanted. My back is gonna hurt for weeks after sleeping in that bed

The room we had was great and the oceanfront view was fantastic. The beach area was very wonderful and the sightseeing was awesome. The bed was good and comfortable. Also, the parking was great and directly across from the hotel. I didn't like how water was in the elevators from other guests walking in from the pool which kept the hallway and the floors wet, and you had to be very careful, so you didn't fall or hurt yourself.

Good location, they have elevators and it’s on the front of the beach. I wish the cleaning staff, asked if you need, trash bags or towels.
