Park Hotel Laim

Staff was great: they were personable and helpful and gave us good information, directions, and general help We liked the location near the Ubahn and trolley: it was easy to get to the center of Munich. There were also restaurants and coffee shops nearby. We did not hear traffic outside our windows, and were also able to use the underground parking. At the time, we thought the breakfast was pricey at 22 Euro. However, Park Hotel Laim was our first stop, and now I think we might have missed a good deal. Suggestion: find out what is included in breakfast. Might be worth doing.

Very friendly staff, right by the U subway. Coffee machine in the room would be great. But Adam from the reception got us a kettle which was very kind of him.

Nothing. I specifically searched for a hotel with a bathtub, and found this place on booking because the room I reserved was listed as having a bathtub, as is shown in the attached image. After checking the room and finding it only had a shower, I went to the reception and let the woman there know about this. She did nothing about it and at one point even raised her tone with me, telling me that they simply had no rooms with bathtubs. At the end they offered me a free breakfast, which seems to be their average response whenever someone has issues. The whole experience was very, very far from what is expected of a "4 star" hotel. The room was extremely noisy as well, as heavy trucks and cars pass in the avenue right next to the place, and the rooms have not been properly protected against this noise. I will never return and obviously I do not recommend this place to anyone. One of the worst experiences I've had in hotels, after traveling through many years and several places of the world.

Staff were nice. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with good variety Nice 5 min walking from u-Bahn and Tram station. They didn't correctly charge me at facilities. They sent invoice with unclear instructions and poor payment information. They keep sending me everything in german and then get mad because I don't understand them.

But during our stay some close rooms were under renovation (and no one informed us in advance). So twice we had to leave the hotel earlier than we planned to avoid the loud noise.

Great hotel for a great value. You can get to the main square in 20 minutes using public transport.

The hotel is very convenient, 5 steps to the subway, 15 min to the train station. Clean and new! Nothing at all!

Rooms were clean and a good size. Hotel is right next to U5. Access to city is easy. Area is safe. Hotel staff are helpful. Breakfast was good but relatively small. Not bad if time is short but I would rather more choices.

The location was convenient, close to public transportation and halal restaurant, room clean. The lift was not comfortable, and it was too small for a baby stroller

I loved the location of the property (very close to the subway and tram). The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff was very attentive. I loved the detail of the mini bar stuff and it is a big plus that there is a mini fridge in the room, it is very useful. Nothing, everything was fine.

Facilities were nice with a large bathroom. It was very close to the location for Oktoberfest.

Location of hotel was great - subway station elevator literally across the street. Bakery nearby and great restaurant as well. Room was spacious and clean. Staff very helpful - accepted my lost luggage for me while I was out. Did not charge us for the morning coffee from the restaurant, turned on the AC in the room when we asked (the outside temp was cool, but having our window open at night let in the smoke from people on the street. The little mini fridge in room was not very cold, so beverages were just a little below room temp. AC was a bit noisy with lots of gurgling.
