Staybridge Suites Charleston - Mount Pleasant by IHG

I love the location,the staff,the cleanliness of the property and its not far from a lot of the attractions that we were interested in seeing I really don’t like the idea of pets being in the building,but that’s just me.But I don’t think it will keep me from returning

They just not allowed pets they welcome them. The staff was super and the rooms are very clean. Best surprise was the breakfast, it was amazing! Not to mention it’s walking distance from the bridge which is great to walk at night. Nothing I loved everything about my stay and now will look for this hotel everywhere I travel

Tuesday night was a different experience. Around 9:30, we planned to let the kids swim for about 30 minutes to wind down—it’s vacation! The front desk representative told us we would have to leave promptly at 10:00 due to “liability.” I understand having rules, but it seemed inconsistent considering the pool opens at 6:00 a.m. and is posted as “swim at your own risk.” What concerned us more was a group of men who sat outside the hotel entrance all three nights, drinking, talking loudly, and sometimes interacting with guests as they walked by. They were allowed to remain there late into the evening, which felt uncomfortable and potentially unsafe, especially for women and children. We also had some cleanliness issues in our room, including hair in the bathtub, behind the bathroom door, and on the bathroom and kitchen counters. Rather than uproot our kids and change rooms, I cleaned the areas myself, and sanitized. The breakfast isn’t that great. Overall, we liked the property and appreciated the wonderful service we received our first two nights, but better consistency with policies, guest safety, and room cleanliness would greatly improve the experience.

Great facilities in the decent sized room. Close to town.

We always stay at Staybridge when we visit Charleston because the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. The hotel itself is clean, organized, and perfectly located for what we like to do.

Our day was just perfect. There isn’t one thing that I would change about it.

It was impossible to sleep with the bedroom window right on Rt 17 highway—motorcycles raving, semis braking, etc all night. Not a restful stay.

This was an amazing stay for us. Unfortunately we only had one night here, as we were traveling into Florida and just needed a room for one night as a halfway point. We loved it so much that we wish we would have planned to stay longer! Staybridge is very dog friendly, and our room was large enough for our dachshund to run around and play. The balcony view of the Ravenel Bridge was gorgeous. Highly recommend this hotel! We will stay here again for sure when we are back in Charleston, perhaps on our way back home to Tennessee this coming weekend!

Our whole experience during this day was excellent

Close to MUSC Traffic outside was so loud, we couldn't sleep. Room 320 Bathroom door almost hit the toilet when opening. Not designed well

Staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious.

The front desk staff was friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the hotel was beautiful. The cleaning staff entered our room twice before we checked out which was very intrusive and off putting. The other issue was a loud party that someone had that was also intrusive. I called the front desk and they apologized but it definitely didn't allow us to have the peaceful experience we were hoping for

Clean and comfortable. Close to French Quarter and Sullivan's Island. Great breakfast!

Hotel is in an excellent location just over the bridge outside the city I had no issues with the hotel

My family of four, including two teenagers, stayed in a two-bedroom suite for seven nights. The hotel was excellently maintained and so clean. Although pets are welcome at the hotel, it did not smell like animals and there wasn't fur everywhere. One of the managers told me that many people stay there who are getting various organ transplants at a local hospital, so they keep all their sanitation standards at the high level needed for people in such delicate health throughout the entire hotel. The staff was so friendly and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and complimentary social hour that included appetizers and adult beverages. This hotel is about 15 minutes or less from most of Charleston's major attractions. The area is very safe; Mount Pleasant is very family friendly. My daughter and I had no concerns with our morning runs and there were scenic places to run. We will definitely stay here again.
