Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient, and any queries we had in the course of our stay were dealt with very promptly and pleasantly. Our room was small but adequate with a view over the garden. Location was excellent - just outside the old city. Unfortunately our stay coincided with a heatwave so we didn't do as much sightseeing as planned but the lovely shady garden was a perfect refuge - and a leisurely breakfast there was a delightful start to the day. There are steps up to the front door and the stairs to the upper floors (there's no elevator) are quite a pull. We managed, but those with limited mobility would definitely find this a problem.

The breakfast was delicious, although I would recommend to add savoury options as well. The location was the ideal spot for the old city and the flea market! The personnel was made up of diamonds! Clean and cozy room with a wonderful view! Maybe a little more space in the room.

Fantastic calm spot opposite the Arceaux aqueduct. Close enough to walk to Place de la Comedie and Gare St Roch, and only 5 mins walk from tramline 3. Lovely shaded garden for breakfast. Staff all very pleasant and speak English if preferred. Room and bathroom well appointed. Good aircon. Only niggles are there is no facility for making a hot drink and no safe for passport, money. Otherwise it would be 10/10! No safe for passport and money. No drinks-making facilities.

It was nice and quiet. I liked overlooking the garden. The staff were friendly and there was a hotel cat.

The hotel was without frills but comfortable with very helpful and charming staff. Its location is excellent, so long as you are not dependent on a car to see the town.

The location and staff were all excellent. The room was much smaller than we had expected. Whilst I understand the reasons put forward to decide what you wanted for the next day’s breakfast, I prefer to browse what’s available and make a spontaneous decision.& See above

I stayed here for 6 nights. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. There was always someone at the front desk during the day who was willing to answer my questions. They also provided suggestions about where to eat and directions to places. The staff really made a positive difference. I also enjoyed le petit dejeuner in the dining room every morning, which was worth the 12 euros. I also got to talk to the other guests during breakfast. There really wasn't anything.
