Hotel Flora

Very close to the central train station and the metro. The front desk held bags for us without any problems. The bed was a so/so. The pillows were a bit flat and the noise from neighboring rooms proved to be a nuisance.

The Hotel Flora was ideally located for arriving by train. I really appreciated being able to store my luggage upon arrival and also after check-out.

Location is good just about 5 minutes from a train station. Receptionist and Busser are totally out of a good service mind. Their face and their body language made us feel like not a customer but some poor Asian.

Big room! there was even balcony(s), it was hot outside, but the ac was running in the room when we arrived (in the middle of the night) fantastico ;)

Room very small for three people and one of the beds was more of a cot rather than a bed.

The only good thing was that it was next to the train station and we were there for only one night. Our room was covered in ants (on the 6th floor). I stayed up until midnight killing ants all over our bathroom floor. Then this morning they filled into one of our open luggages. I had to empty our luggage out and kill all of the ants, it was never ending. I called downstairs and the reception said he couldn’t do anything. We packed up and decided to leave asap. During checkout, the cleaning people were apologetic but I told the reception we were NOT staying for breakfast (too grossed out) and if they could take it off of our bill. He said no, so I asked him to waive the city tax. He was very rude and upset but agreed. Thankfully we were only there for one night. (Images of squished ants)

Second time at Hotel Flora. Amazing location near Milano Centrale for local metro/trams and trains to other cities and airport. Clean, tidy, quiet. Didn't get breakfast this trip. easy choice. I will be back. Apparently the hotels are renovating rooms a little at a time. This is a pre-renovation room, so the bathroom needed a little more attention. looking forward to staying in a newly renovated room.

Terrible staff. No help at all. We entered with 3 suitcases, stroller and sleeping kid - nobody even suggested the help. Room was fully smoked and the ashtray on the floor near the sign “no smoking”. Breakfast is good. Location is top. Personnel

The location was very convenient (close to public transportation), the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. The room was very compact, but when I asked, they changed it to a slightly larger one.

It is close to Milan Centrale train station. It’s somewhat dated, but it was ok.
