Hotel Domenichino

Hotel is at a convenient location just few minutes away from the Metro bringing you straight into town. We went to a concert and it was also close to the concert venue. Room was kept very clean with towels changed daily. Breakfast staff were lovely, with usual continental served. There was free facility to leave luggage so we could spend our last day care free. There is a supermarket very close by so you can grab anything you may need in the room. We found the mattresses very comfortable. Room was not overly modern but the rest of the amenities and pleasant staff more than made up for it.

Rooms are clean, staff friendly, and breakfast was also good. I also liked the neighborhood. A little more variety at breakfast is a nice to have.

Good breakfast

The hotel grounds are good, the breakfast is good. The location is good and the neighborhood is calm and beautiful. The cleaning is not the best. Dead flies with blood on the walls and the sheets where not clean. The staff at night did not even borrowed three dishes and cutlery for us to use to have dinner at room. The shower soap don't work.

Location of the hotel is great: metro, bus and tram stations are all very near and there is also a lot of great bars and restaurants just a few minutes away. Cleaniness is at a high level, and breakfast was great. We had a small issue with airconditioning (it would only work if you put it at a lowest fan level) and shower head had a bad pressure.

The room is very clean and comfortable, it is very basics in the room, but for short stay you don't need more. My focus was on cleanliness and it was very much approved my expectations. The bed is comfortable, there is a TV in the room and refrigerator (empty, in the lobby is vending machine that you can use). There is no wardrobe in the room, however it has a lot of hangovers, so you can put everything on them. They have even slippers, which I appreciated a lot :) Breakfast is good, variety of food having in mind the Italian hotels and breakfast, you can find something that you like. Glass door of the bathroom, and for me personally was not such a big deal as I was traveling with husband, but this is only small thing that we didn't like.

A pleasant stay. Clean room, comfortable beds. Breakfast was fine, variety of choices. Easy access to the city centre (Duomo) and other sights as the nearest metro station is just a short walk away. Friendly and helpful staff. Secure hotel parking, a bit expensive but very useful if arriving by car. ------

Location is good. Five minutes walk and 10 minutes with metro to Duomo. Also, if you travel by car you can easily get out of the city. Parking is paid 22 EUR per day and it's not easily found on the booking page of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was very good. We had a pleasant stay.

The mero was down the street for great convenience! The neighborhood was quiet and the hotel had parking for our car!!!

Hotel Domenichino was in a perfect location for the three venues we visited for the Winter Olympics. We could use the metro or a taxi to the further venues and a taxi to return to Milano Centrale with our luggage. We walked to the Opening ceremonies (about a mile and it was flat). The room wasn’t super large but it was quiet, very clean, and the balcony was as big as the sleeping portion of the room so that was very nice. Breakfast was adequate (although very crowded one morning). The staff was always helpful, and every taxi they called for us arrived in less than 4 minutes. The crowd at breakfast was a little challenging on the second morning, but nothing that was too off-putting. Very nice hotel for our purposes. Would love to use the balcony in warmer weather.
