The location is great. Right in the center of town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant for the free breakfast was also very good. The room type description wasn’t enough information. The deluxe room with balcony view should really say that the bedroom is on the 2nd floor and everything else is on the floor below. So you have to go down steep stairs if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Automatic sensor lights help but the other issue is that these lights go off on their own as well when there’s no motion detected. So lights are flashing in the middle of the night without reason. The front desk tried to make things right and offered everyone in our group the opportunity to switch rooms to a one level room but unfortunately the stay was for only two days so it didn’t make sense to pack up our belongings and move to have to repack again for check out. The front desk should have anticipated that my 86 year old parents wouldn’t have an easy time with a two level room in my opinion. I believe they had other rooms to offer so it would have been easier and better if they asked us if we were comfortable with a two level room. We would have said no thanks if they did. But my parents were being too polite and I guess so were my sister and my brother and their families. Myself and wife included. We should have just went back down to the front desk to see if there were other room types available. To make matters worse the AC was in the stairs so the stairs were nice and cool but the sleeping space with the bed wasn’t at all. I requested fans for everyone and that was a bit better. But of course the fan they put in my room didn’t plug into the wall properly even though it was the hotel’s fan. Just couldn’t get it right at this hotel. I asked if the two level rooms are what made them “deluxe” and they said yes at the front desk. I said no AC and having to walk down stairs at night isn’t very deluxe. They did contact me to offer the one floor room type the next day after I mentioned my displeasure. For all 5 of our rooms.

Convenient hotel in the historic centre of Milan. Room and facilities were comfortable. Happily the air con worked well during a very hot period. We arrive early on a long haul flight and they worked hard to get us a room as soon as they could and gave us a coffee whilst we waited. Nice touch.

Room selected had great Galleria view and was large space with interesting modern design Room was missing two inviting lounge chairs to sit and read. Just one minimalist chair in the corner despite large size of room

Location was amazing. Room was very special. Breakfast was a feast to behold. Staff were very helpful. The stairs in our suite to the balcony bedroom were difficult to navigate when visiting the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The location is excellent. The hotel is situated within the Galleria Vik, just few steps away from the Duomo. Tourist attractions, museums, outdoor restaurants, and shops are right on the doorstep. The hotel's interior is impressive; the walls are covered with paintings, abstract art, and more. It is stunning. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly.

The biggest strength of the Vik Milano is its unbeatable location, right inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. I was also lucky to get an amazing room with a balcony overlooking the galleries, which made for a truly unique Milan experience On the downside, the service felt more in line with a 3 star hotel than a luxury property. While staff were polite, the overall experience lacked the attention to detail and level of hospitality I would expect at this price point. The design is also very much a matter of taste. For me, the décor and furniture felt excessive - too much visual information, too many statement pieces competing for attention. It seems designed to shock and impress, but I personally didn’t connect with the artistic direction
