Hotel Breakwater South Beach

Good

The inside of the building feels like being in a wine cellar. The air is damp, musty, and humid, making the place very uncomfortable. The room we were given had not been cleaned at all; the bed was left exactly as the previous guests had left it. We even found a bug in the bed. After just 10 minutes, we checked out and left. I am still waiting for the accommodation fee, which I paid in advance, to be refunded. I was promised that the money would be transferred back within a few days.

It was a very nice hotel but the pool wasn’t working and we wanted to swim so bad everything else was really good and K’len and the staff was very helpful

The location was perfect. Staff were very friendly. Helped save on Ubers with their bikes to ride, saved on buying beach towels and chairs because they have them. I also enjoyed the sound proof wall. They have a club next door that starts at around 7. Blasting music but we heard nothing. I loved everything. My only problem was our cover was nasty. Also when we arrived our television didn’t work but they immediately fixed it. Pool was under construction.

I love the how the hotel was directly across the beach and it was so many restaurants Although I had a nice experience I didn’t like how I wasn’t able to get in touch with the front desk when I needed something I had to go all the way to lobby. And I didn’t feel like the cleaning was satisfactory, There were used objects from the last guest left under the cabinet area in bathroom and it was dried up urine on toilet seat when my husband lift it up to use it. But as far as the location and restaurants I enjoyed it

Location The pool was broke, no mini bar as promised and no clean towels the whole stay after asking 5 times a day

Pool was't in funtion it was close

Everything was fine except the pool was out of service which why I booked the hotel so that was high disappointment

love the location and the convenience of the bar/restaurant didn't liked the fact I was in a different building, having to cross the ice cream store everyday to get to the lobby, really bothered me; there was not enough staff in the hotel, im not sure if I would go back

Its a scam its nit at all as in the pic ! Please do not book here it stinks so bad and sheet are dirty ! HORRIBLE !!!

The smell was amazing however my view to a run down pool was not We didn’t have any wash cloths and bath towels at check in

Location on the Ocean drive Outdated hotel, pobably needs renovation, too soft beds

Unreal experience in the penthouse, will absolutely be back!

Great convenient place to stay right in the middle of everything Southbeach. You are right across from beach. Great food to your left or right.

Disappointing

I like that it was on Ocean Drive that they had a balcony, but it was facing a wall that the beds were comfortable that they had a refrigerator and two sinks for two different people That the property didn’t have a microwave they didn’t they didn’t give washcloths or toothbrushes and not ordered my food for breakfast. It was cold.
