Location can’t be beat. Quiet. Lighting! Lighting was so bad that I could not see room #, and was at times afraid I might fall because I couldn’t see floor. LED lights are 60x cheaper than incandescent lights to keep on, and would be more considerate of your more elderly customers. You do not need to make it loudly lit up, but enough so we can at least read room #!

Hotel Polanco is a beautiful property, and I really enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent—just a short walk to plenty of restaurants, which made exploring the neighborhood easy and enjoyable. The room was comfortable and the hotel itself has a charming The only downsides were the lack of a refrigerator to keep my medications cool and the absence of a coffee maker in the room. Adding those amenities would make the stay even better. Overall, though, it’s a lovely hotel in a fantastic area.

The location in the heart of Polanco was excellent plus only a stone’s throw to Av Paseo de la Reforma. The room looked over the street so we were concerned about traffic noise but there was excellent double glazing and the road was not as busy as we had thought. We did not find anything that affected our stay. Perhaps some of the carpet in the halls had seen better days but nothing worse.
