Pros: 1. Screens to watch World Cup games. 2. Close to grocery stores and dining restaurants. 3. St.Kilda beach is just minutes away. 4. Public transportation is close by. 5. Ensuite bathroom for private room. 6. Nice cleaner - Did response well to room cleaning. 7. Some staff are real friendly and helpful - shout-out to Isaac for setting up the room and screen for the world cup. Cons: 1. Spotty WIFI connection. 2. Smoking area in the hostel - Absolute dealbreaker. 3. Request not met - Asked for quiet area days ago with rooms available but was given right next to the elevator where slamming door and smoking area next to it. 4. Disappointing bar activities - was looking forward to Wake Up style DJ dance and some free drinks - was greeted by Bingo and pool. 5. Opening Hour - Laundry room closed at 11pm which is crazy. 6. Some staff unpleasant - One cleaner guy was rude and angry - rush to clean the kitchen at 10pm and stopping me and my mom from using - crazy staff 7. Numerous Access Checkpoint - At least 3 access checkpoints to room.

Staff are very friendly, especially the night duty guy. Thanks!

location was good, very near to Acland St and nearby St Kilda locales. I would have liked to have used my own pillow, but I wasn't allowed to. The pillow that was provided was very low quality, so I kind of ended up with a sore neck in the morning. I understand the logic behind no allowing guests to bring their "own linen" (lice? bedbugs?) but I've stayed at dozens of places an none have ever had this requirement. Also, as an Australian, I didn't think they'd require that I had a valid passport in order to prove my identity, but, I suppose they are trying to keep locals out. Which, I understand from a business perspective, but I wouldn't choose a place like this again.

Javier was the best, he help me a lot!! Nomads is a cool place to stay.

The room itself was excellent and the cleaning was done daily and methodically. Very central location, super handy to tram lines and Saint Kilda itself. Bar staff and reception staff were very friendly also. Most of the rooms are in close proximity to the bar, which is lively most nights. That's how it's meant to be, but this didn't suit me so well, it did impact my sleep. Having to step over people sprawled out on the hallway floors while talking on their phones etc., not such fun!

Very nice entertainment every night. There’s a kitchen downstairs to make food. Staff are very nice. The cleaning staff only clean the surface areas. They change the beds when someone leaves, but they don’t disinfect the bunk beds properly. Overall, the hygiene standards could be much better. It can be a little noisy after 11:00 PM.

Too noisy. Luggage storage was not secure.

nice balcony view from my room, very close to the beach which has a lot of great food options. When i stayed there, the weather was great, and was awesome to walk over there with some music and saw so many people at the beach doing sports, tanning, etc I found the ground level almost empty everytime I go out in the morning and come back in the evening. There are fun in-house events everyday but only a few visitors attend it and just do their own thing

App access to everything was annoying and time consuming. Kitchen area was located in the basement, which seemed dungeon-y and not that clean.

I loved this spot! A great spot to meet new peeps too, they are always offering some activity :) you can also walk down the road in the evening and see the penguins on the beach! Great location by a ton of stuff! Great spot ✨✨

Excellent location , smoooth check in The hostel has event going on every night and for the night I stayed the party was finished at 1am so it obviously doesn’t suit someone who want a quiet place
