Could do with a really thorough clean, stair railings were very dirty. Beds were clean though. Bedroom sliding door was broken and the light switch for the bathroom was broken so the light had to stay on the whole time

Location Dirty

Location is absolutely brilliant. Walking distance to public transport and private hospital. Workers Club over the road is excellent for a meal. Rooms are clean and the hot water is very hot - great for washing up and showers. Maintenance of the facilities is poor. Both washing machien & dishwasher didn't work. light in bathroom didn't work, curtains were broken and difficult to open and close. Overall the lighting in the living room is very low.

All.communication with the staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. No

Communication. I ended up staying for a total of 9 nights and they only serviced the room twice and that was because I asked them too. I didn't know they had a complementary laundry until day 7 but asked for a clothes airer 3 times to do hand washing. The room wasn't the greatest and it was an upgrade due to the elevator having maintenance done. I had to drag everything up the stairs, there was hair on the floor in the toilet. The glass on the shower door in the corner was black and after requesting a quiet room to be (upgraded) to a room that was on Brunswick Street all I could hear was traffic & trams , I think the window needed resealing. The maintenance of the room is very poor. I have to wonder how often the owner looks at the rooms. The staff were lovely but very dismissive when I asked for anything ie: a rubbish bag for the bin, "Oh just come and ask for one" ?? It was convenient for me to walk to St Vincent's hospital and the bed was comfortable.

Location was great as I had arrived from 300 kilometers away for admission into Saint Vincent's Private Hospital Fitzroy at 7am the next morning. A 10 minute walk to Hospital Admission Desk. Everything was very good, there was nothing that I did not like.

Great location with secure parking Friendly staff. Clean

Stayed for a short family get away. Went for local shopping, food and Museum. Walked everywhere but trams right outside door if needed. Great size accommodation for family with pre teen children. Simple but clean and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

Close to everything I needed No restaurant meals of a night

Nice hotel in good location, close to city centre.

Location was great - very short walk to St Vincents hospital Check in was easy and gentleman very helpful. Car parking was easy and easily accessible. Cleanliness was NOT up to hotel standard. We had to rewash all cutlery and crockery as they were dirty. Stains on curtains and furniture and carpet and fridge had sticky residue on shelves. Balcony had no furniture so had to use inside chairs to sit on which were mouldy. Few condiments were in a bowl that was filthy and looked like it hadn't been looked at for months. We were stuck in the lift twice over a weekend when no one was at reception as the doors didn't open. When advising reception, the manager (??) advised he was aware of the issue. If he was aware of this, why has it not been fixed?

The location right on the No 11 tram is the best thing about this hotel. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. No milk for tea; scratchy thin towels. No convenience store nearby.

Great location in Fitzroy- 5 minutes walk to pubs on Gertrude St Rooms a little dated
-
Great location, nice pool, easy pleasant experience

The room was comfortable and the restaurant for breakfast was lovely. The staff were friendly and it was conveniently located. The slippery metal stares which we used as the call button for the lift on our level didn't work. Upon leaving I fell down the wet metal stairs. The shower barely had water coming out of it. When I mentioned it to reception they just said no handiman was on over the weekend.

Not clean, broken appliances, bad WiFi, in need of upgrade

Room was spacious and quiet. Parking was really good in that part of Melbourne

We were in a good part of town. Everything advertised was not as it looked in the pictures, the swimming pool was dirty and tired, the apartment wasn't clean, the curtains were falling off the track in the bedroom, and basic things like normal tea bags weren't supplied. The weather was very bad and the rain soaked into the carpet underneath the balcony door, which made the apartment smell musty and got our socks wet. The dishwasher was broken and we had to ask for dishwashing detergent and tea bags. When we asked about a partial refund, they told us to go through their website, which I just tried doing but the complaint bounced back because I booked through Booking.com. There is no way to follow up this unsatisfactory experience. I am now waiting for a reply from senior management as promised in my review feedback. I hope to hear that one of the three nights we paid for will be refunded.

eveything very good the chair in the room needs to be replaced a little worn

It is centrally located and affordable The back elevator was broken my last day and there were no staff around to ask for help because they only staff the front desk during daytime. So I had to lug heavy suitcases down three flights of stairs at the start of a very long travel day
