Checkin, checkout, off street parking, staff help for directions to various local shops, room made up every day, fresh towels Bathroom was a bit on the small side, but obviously something that can’t be easily changed!

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was small and dark. The toilet was quite awful…with a very small basin. Please notice that the room looked completely different from the photos on the website.

Do not come here if you have a car and are needing parking. The parking is not guaranteed and cannot be reserved even though they charge $30 a night for an insecure carpark. We were told upon checkin if we left during our stay we would likely not get a park again and would have to pay to park in a public carpark next door known for car break ins and stolen vehicles. Rooms were dirty, dated and nothing like advertised. Had to be moved due to being placed next to the door between the pool and hallway and being able to hear every person that came into the hotel. Our room also faced onto the pool area, meaning one wall was a huge window that any other hotel guests could look through so felt very vulnerable and not private. Second room was on the second floor where there were other guests blasting music, screaming at each other and swearing at the top of their lungs. Walls were paper thin so could hear every buzz of the machines, rickety old aircon/heater, lift doors, suitcases and conversations of people outside. We left one hour after check in and stayed somewhere else. Would not stay here again even if you paid me.

I love the location as we went out in Carlton and Fitzroy and it was close to the bus stop to take us there. The property was nice and clean and was exactly what we needed. The staff were so friendly! Breakfast was good. The rooms aren’t super sound proof so we heard people talking walking past our room.

Easy access to the city especially cafes, bar and resto. The property has its own pool. We have a got chance to have photos there with my friends. Actually we loved the place.
