Not much. An extremely poor hotel experience. Check-in took around 20 minutes, and there was no soap in the room. The toilet did not work, and a technician tried to repair it twice without success. When we asked for another room, the receptionist seemed irritated. The second room had no towel, and the air conditioning did not work. After a long wait and another unsuccessful repair attempt, we were given a third room that same evening. The air conditioning did not work there either, but by then we had given up. All of this happened after 5:00 p.m. The pool area is the hotel’s only positive feature, but even this area is poorly maintained. The pool bar is run-down, staff smoked behind the bar, and the toilet facilities were in very poor condition. You receive only one towel at check-in and must pay for another. The service, maintenance, and overall standard were far below what should be expected from a hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Even at a low price, it is not worth the money.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the gentleman in the reception ! I recently stayed at the Imperial Holiday Hotel in Marrakech, and unfortunately, my experience was far below my expectations. The room was in very poor condition. The bed sheets had stains, the toilet was brown and looked dirty, the towels were old and torn, and the minibar was leaking. The balcony was completely unusable because it was surrounded by two air-conditioning units. The heat coming from them was so intense that it was impossible to stand outside for more than a few seconds. The worst part of my stay happened on Saturday morning when the water was cut off while I was taking a shower. I had shampoo in my hair and went to reception to ask what was happening. I was simply told it would take about 15 minutes to come back. No apology or alternative solution was offered, so I had no choice but to leave for my salon appointment with shampoo still in my hair. On Sunday morning, the hotel was extremely noisy because of renovation work on the fourth floor. Guests should have been informed in advance or the work should have been scheduled to minimize the disturbance. The only positive part of my stay was the gentleman at reception, who was very kind, polite, and professional throughout my stay. Overall, I was very disappointed. The cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience were not up to an acceptable standard, and I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel.

Nothing at all, it was dirty and we had cockroaches in the room twice and no hot water and the room wasn’t the room I booked. There was a lot of noise and we contacted Booking 8 times without a answer.

Nothing!!! Very slow service! First, when I arrived, they said my reservation didn't exist! I had to wait in the lobby for an hour! The front desk guy had to go upstairs to their administration to figure it out! After they finally gave me my room, it wasn't what I booked at all! The window wouldn't close, and there was an electricity issue; I had to turn off and on the lights from the panel box in the wall! And no phone in the room, I had to go to the desk several times to get help! The maintenance guy took forever to come to fix the window, and he was rude! Definitely not worth it, and I highly do not recommend this place.!

Good Everything is good

I had to threaten to cancel in order to get a room that’s not on the busy street side and very loud with poor sound insulation, but eventually when I got into the new room there was a nice view on the pool Side and it was fairly quiet. The room was vast. The building is kind of run down and poorly maintained. A lot of details are dirty like the joints in the bathtub for instance. There was a horrible smell in all the rooms from the product that the leaning persons use.

My room was a little bit noisy as it's near the main Street.

We choose the Imperial due to location and price. To sleep just one night and catch the train next morning in the near train station. It works for that matter. A little noisy, but tolerable. Nothing dramatic. Maybe the excitement for the African Cup of Nations.
