NH Madrid Ventas

Clean, modern and nice amount of space Air conditioning was not working at all. We asked for maintenance several times. They came and said they fixed it. It wasn’t fixed and no remedy was offered. Our stay was uncomfortable because it was hot and the bed felt like cardboard.

Classicly Spanish hotel with extensive breakfast. The location is a bit of a hole to shopping.

The breakfast offering were fabulous, The coffee was delicious. Loved that start to each morning. The room was accessible. Met my expectations. I was disappointed, after walking the distance for the only accessible route to the pool, that the pool it self was inaccessible. I was not able to use the pool because I would not be able to climb the ladders. Stairs would have been better, but the new standard of inclusive access entrance and exit points are required. I was truly disappointed.

The hotel and room is modern, clean, the bathroom is spacious, the staff is kind. They let me check out at 6:00 pm with a 16 euros per hour rate after 1:00 pm. The bed was comfortable. The hair dryer is great. The actual bedroom is too small, bigger rooms were not available when booking, no robes or slippers, only basic toiletries, a bit far from the metro

Hotel Location is pretty comfortable; walking distance to Las Ventas, and the subway.., in subway you can move out in less than 15min to El Retiro / Puerta de Alcala and all those truistic places, for breakfast, restaurant it has a plenty of options and very good quality, but also, during the afternoon you can have a good glass of wine on the Terrace, and the bar has a good wine selection and appetizers. All was good

The hotel is a bit worn. Further the staff speaks very little English, and seems a bit disorganized. Despite asking for an iron / iron board (which should be standard in a business and conference hotel) 3 times, and the reception staff every time recording the request, calling colleagues and promised to get it brought to the room, nothing happened. The road is a bit noisy and the hotel sound isolation not great.

Clean, professional staff, great breakfast. Felt comfortable for 9 days. They had a guard at night so when I left at 2.00 am I felt very comfortable. The only thing was a bit far from attraction but we took the taxi or walked and the price was very reasonable. So not a big deal.

Everything else. It was a construction site, with water and electricity cutting and it smells like paint. The staff is so rude and unhelpful. Very far from the metro and a dead area.

The room was big enough for us (2 persons) and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the view was nice (7th floor). It was very quiet, no noise from outside, We will come back here if there is another concert at the Ryadh Air Metropolitano stadium! The wifi was a little bit weak. Maybe because we were on the top floor in one of the last rooms!?
