The room was amazing, customer service was excellent, and the pool was wonderful.

Breakfast was amazing, the location was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar staff were exceptional at making the best cocktails I've ever had. The hotel itself was just fabulous, the pool was really needed on such a warm days. Rooms were lovely, spotless and well appointed. The decor and history in the building, while given a more modern touch, still shone through. The old theatre is spectacular. The guys playing music...I could go on and on! To be honest its hard to find fault with the hotel. If i was to be extremely picky I would say that it was a little annoying the free drink vouchers they provide (which is great btw) can't be used by the pool! And, maybe its a little annoying that the rooms are so far from the rest of the hotel but that is being really picky.

Great location. Very nice hotel. Checking was horrible. Absolutely horrible. They act like they could get you early check in for extra $$. Like if you can’t just say so. Don’t make hang around the hotel for hours so I can check in. I gave them my cell number they never called even though they insist they will. Not only did they not check us in like they promised they check one of or rooms past the guaranteed check in time. This is an absolute pain when you come in in a red eye. I wanted to lay for a room the night before but they said I can just pay for early check in but then they pulled the rug in that one. Never again will I stay here

Excellent rooms and staff

the location is really perfect and also staff are very helpfull friendly and calm Due to road construction work, we couldn’t fully enjoy the balcony, but this was not related to the hotel in any way. The hotel itself was excellent, and the staff were very calm

Wonderful hotel in a great location with easy access to the metro. The staff was helpful & friendly. Just lovely all around.

Some construction is on the backstreet adding some noise. But that b is temporary and the double glasses helped. I wish the mini bar could be cooler than what they have.

Great food and service and especially the staff. Period. Signed up for cabaret, wonderful professional presentation. However, we ordered food with it and nothing ever came nor did we have any guidance. Not a big problem, just strange.

They won’t change your sheets at all. Staff is not super friendly and front desk didn’t inform us about anything

The location, staff was nice Rooms were tiny. It was supposed to be to be a five star hotel, yet the amneties were not 5 star. There were no robes, few drawers, no counter/desk space. We had to ask for mini bar and other stuff to be removed in order to put meds in refrigerator and have someplace to plug in phone/watch/ipad charges. The bathroom is part of the room. Our cabin on cruise ship was bigger. No concierge desk, no turn down service, no chocolate on pillow, coffee was not labeled decaf or regular. Coffee pot was in wardrobe, safe was in wardrobe. Shower was tiny. Too hard to turn on water in bathtub, had to get into tub to reach faucet knobs. Tub Access difficult because the majority of the tub was blocked by wall and sink. Sink was utilitarian, shelf space taken by towels. Night stands tiny. Phone occupied almost entire night stand top!

Poor Will not book a room in a 5 star hotel without a toilet hotel

+ great central location, yet quiet + friendly reception + great music videos playing in reception area - rooftop terrace is no longer serving any food (new local regulations cannot be fulfilled we were told) - the other dining option and only restaurant was converted into a “Piano Bar” which can be quite noisy and is not suitable for a comfortable dinner - breakfast is also served in the Piano Bar with the uncomfortable seats and served by overwhelmed, poorly trained and tired staff - rooms can feel small due to layout - concierge desk often unattended - overall not a 5 star experience any more, feels more like a busy 4 star hotel in a great location

AN UNUSUAL PROPERTY , VERY DIFFERENT AND VERY HOSPITABLE

Beautifully renovated building in a centrally located area. The staff bends over backwards to be helpful and accommodating. We liked everything! Lovely breakfast, too!

The property was close to everything. The staff were knowledgeable and kind. We received an upgrade. The bed was so comfortable. The only thing negative is that you can’t really be dropped off at the front and the pool seemed to be out of commission with pool equipment being repaired right outside our window. But it was not a big problem at all.

Very clean, attention to details: slippers, umbrella, daily cleaning, very helpful and kind staff, central location. Nothing.
