Very poor value for money and unclear communication at reception I stayed at this hotel for two nights and, honestly, I found the price far too high for the conditions offered. The invoice shows 340 EUR for the first night and 341 EUR for the second night, a total of 681 EUR for two nights. The room did not offer anything special that could justify such a high rate. The amenities were minimal: only one bottle of still water and one shower cap, although there were two guests staying in the room. Another unpleasant aspect was the lack of clarity regarding the amounts charged or held on the card. At reception, we were told that 50 EUR per person would be held as a guarantee and refunded later, but the explanation was not clear. Communication with the reception staff was difficult, both in Spanish and in English, which created confusion regarding payments and possible deposits. Overall, the experience was not what I expected from a Hyatt Regency hotel and definitely did not justify the price paid. The value for money was very poor.

Rooms were large, amenities were nice, with all the 5 star perks like gym, spa, restaurant, 24 hour concierge Bathroom flush didn’t work so we had to switch rooms the first night. The next day the bathroom sink suddenly draining. We had to notify the front desk and it was fixed promptly. The hotel is a little far from city center and you have to take the train or taxi to get around which can get expensive.

Jorge-who attended in us at the bar/restaurant was fantastic! Big hotel and clean. Appreciate the free breakfast. Several issues occured 1) despite us telling them in advance that we are traveling with little kids and need side by side rooms, they initially gave us rooms on different floors. 2) Room service was very incompetent and could nit get a tea order right. 3) Air-conditioning in one our rooms was not budging below 24C and we were there with kids during sone of the hottest days in Madrid. When we asked for a partial refund on this room and complained about the poor room service, they refused to issue any refund and we only managed to get reimbursement for one our dinners that was 1/10 the room price. Will not stay here again.
