Location Very basic things are paid, the rooms are not in very good condition, in common kitchen I found only one cup. The shower cabin doors were transparent. The staff sits there not caring about your wishes.

It’s just next to the Cathedral de Almudena and the Royal Palace and few minute walk to all the tourist destinations. It’s hard to carry luggages to the Metro. But if you only do everywhere without the luggage it is just fine since the Metro is near. And the AC needs to be on if tenants are in their rooms.

It was smelly

The bathrooms were a bit dirty at times, but I think that just happens as the day goes by.

It’s a hostel with shared rooms

The staff are so nice and the location is excellent. I found it also clean.

Nothing to dislike, I got what I paid for

1. Floor is starting to come off. 2. No A/C control. A/C is controlled by hotel, and they operate it from 7pm, and on the lowest strength possible. 3. Receptionist was on the phone when checking in for 4 minutes disregarding people across from him.

over all it's a good value for money hostel, very central next to the royal palace and also reception 24/7. over crowded room, it needs refurbishment, and we had people did wasn't groomed and cleaned, the shower glass could be more private as it was a see trough shower.

Great location Too expensive but assume Madrid is too expensive.... It was too hot as heaters on all the time....

The building looks slightly old, and the rooms have little to no privacy. The beds are very old and noisy. As we had to make our beds upon arrival, some guests arrived and made their beds in the middle of the night, making a lot of noise. The light in the room is very strong, and there is only one light for the whole room, which wakes people up very often in the middle of the night. I highly recommend implementing some (cheap) changes: - Install curtains for each bed - Make it clear that we have to make our own beds and then collect the sheets in the bag after the stay. It would be better to have someone do this, especially upon arrival with putting on the duvet cover. Regarding the latter, after a long trip, this is not what someone wants to deal with. - Change the beds - to a more stable material so it is not so noisy. - Implement individual lighting per bed - not allowing turning on the main light after 22h - Solve the flooding issues in the bathrooms - there was a huge pool shortly after starting a shower.

The location was good, only 12 minutes walk to Sol and city centre. Very poor standards , dark room ,very low bed and bedding poor quality, very old shower , everything needs to be updated . It's expensive .

Location and staff of hostel are the only good things about this place. Rooms were dirty. Bathrooms were dirty. We shared a 4 bed hostel room with a man who was high as a kite.
