Good breakfast

Hotel was not clean. Carpets were dirty. Rooms were very humid and had a odd smell to them. Walls arw thin and you can hear other rooms tvs and showers very easily. Our toilet ran all night long. Breakfast was basic and nice.

The room had an odor of cleaning supplies that didn’t dissipate until the next day. Though not distressing, it wasn’t pleasant. The breakfast was adequate, and the area was safe with pleasant check-in staff. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

It was okay. Being 15 minutes from Epic was nice. After leaving the AC at 70 degrees for the day, my clothes that were hanging in the closet felt damp. Parking was easy and the breakfast was decent.

Overall, my experience was a good one clean room decent size quiet two thumbs up
-
close to what I needed. Pool, spa, balcony, plenty of seating areas, coffee in room and lobby, friendly and attentive staff.

Great and quiet location. Hotel common areas and the room were clean. Staff was friendly. Upkeep was a little lacking: the shower head in our room had weaker stream and most of the water still coming out of the faucet, so the tub was draining slowly; the thermostat stopped working on our second night (but we were leaving the next day, so we didn't tell the staff until checkout, more as FYI); the fitness center was down to one clean towel to wipe the equipment with when I went there early in the morning; bowls were not replenished during breakfast. Overall the amenities were nice: ample parking, clean restrooms, small fitness center but clean and nice equipments, indoor pool and hot tub (didn't have time to use them, but area looked clean), several sitting areas with nice furniture inside and outside of the hotel for relaxing and meeting with friends. Breakfast was fairly basic but a little disappointing for a Wyndham Garden: Good--hot scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes; several breads and pastries to choose from, 2-3 fresh fruit options, waffle maker, cereal; A little disappointing (maybe personal preference): Coffee was a little weak; Twix yogurt (too sugary for me); granola bars and instant oatmeal packets. We were in the second building where there was a banquet hall, and it was fine a wedding reception took place our second night there, but it would have been nice if they didn't go on with loud music until past 1am, when we were trying to sleep.

Easy check in. Room was nice, clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful with checking in and out. Easy and quick drive to Madison which was also a plus.

We had to move rooms at midnight. The air conditioner leaked and flooded the room floor the room was musty and mildew smelling with a strong air freshener odor. The pool was nice. Breakfast was hot and adequate.

Avoid this hotel if you're in the area. I needed to stay one night with my toddler for a family wedding. We were driving in from out of state. I called to request an earlier check-in--even just 30 minutes would have helped with allowing us to check in and get ready for the wedding, as the regular check-in of 3p would have allowed only 45 minutes to change and get to the venue nearby. First, I couldn't even call the hotel directly--the number directs you to corporate, where I wasted 15-20 minutes sharing and resharing my reservation information with the corporate associate, only to be told that no early check-in, even a modest one, was possible. Personally, I have never before been denied a reasonable early check-in request when I have needed one, so this was surprising. We arrived at the hotel on check-in day an hour before check-in. The woman at the front desk told us that checking in even 30 minutes early was impossible. I do not believe this. In a chain hotel like this that employs enough housekeeping staff, there is no way that there were 0 rooms ready that matched the common type I booked even 30 minutes prior to check-in. Neither would the woman at the front desk allow me to complete paperwork early to save time. From the hotel employees to the corporate customer service agents, I consistently encountered rudeness and inflexibility. Also, I'll add that I hated the unavoidable, trashy electronic casino game machines right across from the only (slow) elevator. AVOID.

The lady staff with the drawer on eye brows she must be sleeping with the general manager she walks around hotel like she owns it and very rude

This is a great place to stay! Walkable to restaurants and shopping, plus it’s right on a nature trail for biking or walking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little outdated, but still good!

Friendly staff, property was not clean and run down

Location was great. Loved going swimming in early morning and was pleasantly surprised by breakfast. Price per night was quite economical. People handling front desk were quite friendly and helpful.

This is what I'm talking about: in my view, this is exactly what the motel experience should be like everywhere, and it's a shame that it's not. Whatever the true age of the place, it looked and smelled new, freshly painted, well appointed, and clean. The staff was courteous, and they've apparently been checking all the boxes. The room had everything: notepads, fridge and microwave, big TV, iron and board, kleenex box, three liquid dispensers in the shower, the whole nine. They even sell packaged ice cream in the lobby. They don't skimp on staff, the pool was great, and the breakfast was generous. If only the other places I stay at were like this. Zero complaints. I still can't believe it myself, but everything was fine. Like, holy moly.

The property is very spacious and clean. I love that they had cold water once you come in the door because it was hot outside. They also had snacks for purchase downstairs and that was very convenient There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel

The second night was a Saturday and the price reflected that it was a busy night for the hotel. The night before was also busy as our room was not available at the 3 pm checkin time. I was needing to lie down due to tummy issues and asked if we could have a different room. The desk woman appeared to check availability, but said there was not another room available. Soon, a young man took over at the desk. I asked him if our room would soon be ready and he checked with housekeeping, but it was not. 5 minutes later, he motioned me to the desk and said he was changing our room to one that was ready. I greatly appreciated this act of kindness, expecially since he noted that the hotel was going to be full that night. That room was in the adjacent building where the restaurant is located. Room 2002 was not recently renovated, but was clean and very quiet and served our purpose well. The breakfast was a typical "free" breakfast, not as good as others I've experienced. Coffee was awful, we walked to Panera next door. Parking was plentiful and free. Great Dane restaurant next door had delicsious food.
