Hampton Inn Detroit/Madison Heights/South Troy

Not luxurious, but for sure comfortable for a stay of a week. 24/7 coffee in the lounge, spacious room It’s all a little bit outdated. Caroet in room looks dirty. Gym is also outdated.

Great breakfast!

Perfect stay for the night of a concert in Detroit. Not too fancy got the job done.

Nicole at the front desk was amazing very friendly had a wonderful smile and pleasant to work with on our stay.

location was great, right off interstate and not from Woodward ave. The room was clean, staff friendly and the breakfast was good. only one towel hook in bathroom.

The staff was great and the breakfast was good. The room wasn’t the cleanest and there was black mold in the bathroom along with hair and dust in the vents.

Superb

This is a very nice Hampton, clean, well maintained, and great staff. I shall stay at this Property anytime I need to be in this nice neighborhood in Detroit area.

The property was fine. The beds were comfortable. Everything was dated but clean. Staff was very helpful. What I didn’t like was the fact that Booking.com failed to transmit my reservation and my travel companion’s reservation. I was stuck on hold for 25 minutes, then treated to an overseas operator that I could barely hear who then proceeded to argue with me and the hotel staff. Booking.com needs to work on their customer service.

THe staff were wonderful. Everyone we interacted with were bright, and professional. It made me happy to see that. Even the cleaning staff were welcoming. The wall paper and some minor building items were showing some age, but it doesn't bother me. The price point more than made up for that.

I completely understand that mistakes happen, but this felt like housekeeping had started our room, taken the tip, and then simply walked away without finishing. Leaving cleaning chemicals and a dirty rag behind was also concerning, especially since I was traveling with my children. I brought the situation to the hotel's attention, but no compensation, Hilton points, discount, or even another gesture to make it right was offered. That was probably the most disappointing part. I wasn't expecting anything unreasonable, but I did expect the hotel to acknowledge that this was not an acceptable housekeeping experience. We've stayed at many Hilton properties and generally have good experiences, but this one definitely fell short of what I expect from a Hampton Inn.

The weekend breakfast hostess pushed people out of the breakfast area at 955 just so she can clean up and exit on time. When bringing concern to their attention they only said “we are remodeling and hope to see you soon “

Very clean, updated hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Exceptional

Good breakfast, nice pool, friendly staff and clean facility. No towel bars in the bathroom so it was hard to reuse towel.

Friendly staff , good property and nice swimming pool. Breakfast had decent options. Hope to visit again.
