Kaani Grand Seaview

Nothing at all. Except the manager i had to complain and after staying 1 night he had me shifted to Kaani Palm which was very nice. Eveything.

Probably the best location in the island to stay, the beach is exactly in front. Facilities are very good, especially the staff were amazingly helpful! Special thanks goes to Sapna from reception, Sabbir and Anjali from the restaurant, and Arif from the room services. Also, Mr. Kani helped a lot with the activities. There are no drying facilities in the hotel, which is a bit of a bummer. And some basic amenities were not available, such as sleepers, toilet sandals, etc., but they were probably minor niggles!

The food options I had full board and I just waisted money cause i didn’t eat inside the food options are really limited and barely eatable so I had to eat outside even though with the full board.

Location was good and staff was friendly shoutout to magic for giving us the information we needed Its a nice hotel only would be better if there was ac in the common areas and thats it

This hotel was right on point. Transfers well coordinated & fairly organized. The ferry was convenience. Hotel was clean, especially because NO CARPET!! Everything else was great. The breakfast and dinner was great. The ferry service when departing vessel @ airport at the completion of the trip. The negative is with the ferry after reaching airport, there needs to be stairs when exiting the boat. The step up is dangerously high for young & old. It was just risky and 2 guys helping does not decrease the risk. The pulling of the arm of my travel mate was unacceptable. What if she had limitations in n shoulder,it they would have pulled it out of socket. The step was so high she had to fall down in sitting position to get to it. Some people are not able to extend leg to the maximum of hip rotation.

The transfer from the hotel to the airport was not properly organized. They sent my family to Male port instead of airport, although I clearly asked to send them to the airport. In fact their transfer is more expensive than the other boats from the island. But I payed for their transfer because wanted to make sure that they will pickup and directly send them to the airport. In the end they got lost without their luggage. Had to find taxi for them and look for their luggage. Luckily their flight was late, otherwise they would have to leave without the luggage or even worse miss the flight.

Great views I accidentally cut my hand at the hotel, and the hotel was unable to provide basic first aid supplies such as a bandage or finger plasters to close the wound. Later, when these supplies were finally arranged, my roommate was not allowed to collect them from the reception desk, and I was told I had to come down myself. However, I had to hold a towel against the wound to stop the bleeding, which made it impossible for me to go downstairs alone. By the time the first aid kit was organized—about an hour and a half later—I had already managed to close the wound myself, and my friend went to a pharmacy to buy plasters.

Jusika was a star. She was so attentive and pleasant. She genuinely felt concern for my well-being. She checked on and made me feel welcome. Many of the staff members were kind and friendly. On my last day they did a design and a message on my bed which was sweet. Breakfast was ok. The omelettes and pancakes were tasty. The bread was hard. There was dead cockroach in the staircase. I reported it but when I took the stairs a while afterwards, it was still there. That’s unacceptable. Also, there were several cats in the restaurant during breakfast. It was uncomfortable. That may just be how things are on the island though.

The breakfast is good and changes everyday. The location is great, has a variety of options. The equipments are a bit aged and the sound isolation is poor. We can hear people talking in the hallway very clearly.
